Louis should feature in the videos more - I really liked his photos.
That was actually a really nice portrait of the man at 3:04!
Loved this, as usual. Is there any chance in another video you could talk through the shots you choose to take? I know it's probably difficult to pin down why you choose a certain shot but maybe tell us what you look for in composition? I'd love to know what goes through your head before you click (lighting, objects, colours). Thank you for inspiring my interest in film photography! AC x
I Really like the second dudes style. Totally sweet shots!
I always wish for your videos to be longer, feel so relaxed and inspired watching them.
i dont see how people find the photos boring. i like the washed out tones, it tells a different story. i thought they were all quite amazing

how do washed out tones make a photo great? Just because something is different doesn't mean it is awesome, right?

She said: because it tells a different (or specific kind of) story. That doesn't make it inherently great but can contribute to what makes it enjoyable.

doitwithhelp what does it mean to overexpose by one stop?
@wtfmariaa
7 жыл бұрын
i'm sure george can explain this A LOT better than i can, but exposure has to do with the shutter speed, ISO and aperture of your camera. basically how much and how fast/slow your shutter releases and how much light you allow in. different film have different ISO settings you're supposed to shoot at, like 400 or 800, so overexposing your film by one stop is going up one more than what your film is intended to be shot at.

Where do you usually buy your expired film? Here in Australia a normal roll of 36 c41 is $6 AUD and developing prices are insane, and would love some help with finding cheap film. Thanks! Also overexposing by one stop is shooting at half the ISO or whatever setting, so shooting at 400 but you shoot as 200, it would be overexposed by 1 stop
I bet this could be a cheaper route to go too.. Interesting.
The last pic by Louis was by far my favourite... i also liked the one of the boxes outside what looked like an office block entrance. I felt like his photos had more theme but both sets were great.
Pure and absolute love for this channel.
Really loved Louis's shots! (and yours of course)

Hey there! Just found your channel and subbed instantly. Love everything about it! Where do buy all your film from?
Damn, these are some lovely images!!
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
I started learning about photography since like fall of 2017 because I was collaborating with an photographer assisting as a stylist in freelancing. Looking at the videos learning from point of views from photography starting from digital cameras, I've learned a lot to start, but watching this channel is so far one of my favorites because I grew up in film photography! By Seeing this channel from knowing and learning film photography really helps SOOOOOOO Much by point across why film brings LIFE of Editorial of what I'm looking in photography. I'm excited that I'm ready to order an 6x6 120mm medium format film camera using Kiev 60 TTL an very dope beast similar like the Pentagon 6 TL. I thank this channel cause it helps so much of what I need it to know to get better of what I can achieve to look for.
love the color of the video! how do you do the edit?
Don't ever stop making videos
i love this so much
Excellent.
So good. Got my hands on some expired B&W film a few weeks back, got some really cool results.
what is the second song you used? I can find it on soundcloud :(

really interesting /informative (and beautifully shot!) videos, one question though, how have you accumulated such an expensive set of cameras!? leicas and mamiya etc?
Great photos this week guys! Where do you get the instrumental versions of FS&HG's music?
can anyone identify the fleece/wool thing as well as the jacket? both look great

How do you get film to come out so good and on the computer
Amazing.
loved louie's photo's!
The colour correction in the video looks wonderful. Are presets/filters you can recommend?
Just found your channel. I'm in love. What stabilizer is Louie using?
I expected some commentary at the end, but regardless, great results, great vid. Make 'em longer and keep 'em coming : )
how do you change the iso on a manual film camera? should I just use a slower shutter speed?
lovely chanel, keep going Guy !
