Thanks for keeping us all entertained with your catapults (called slingshots here in the USA), Si. I very much enjoyed watching your video. It looks like you're getting pretty good with them.

Yep trying Tim. Not as easy as air rifle, but I like the challenge.
Evening Si, why not set up some spinners and HFT targets and have a go at them - should be fun - Cheers and stay safe Brian

Right.
Yes this brings back memories ammunition is abundant of every grain and weight I'm not a hunter I'm not sure if you can hunt with that but it would be challenging if you could if it was done humanely it would be interesting to know what the FPS is and impact power good shooting I can't even see that far as for the pandemic the virus shouldn't be called covid-19 but SARS2 there's no excuse they should have had a vaccine for this mitigation is a hundred-year-old cure and that's unacceptable in the year 2020 take care have a great day

@Bill62 Bill ...... you most certainly can hunt with a catty. Once you know how to use one and know how to balance the ammo weight with the correct cut of elastic, they're accurate and deadly. Eg: 9.5mm steel bearings are a popular and good all round ammo for targets and also hunting. It's easy to set a catty up to shoot 9.5 steel at 300fps. 56gr at 300fps = 11+ ft lbs. They land with a devastating thump, and in capable hands a catty is as accurate as any air rifle at 15-20m. That's a decent average distance that an experienced shooter can keep doing shot after shot, but there are lots of people that are capable of far more than that with a catty.
