Those were some big ass rats! Wouldnt take long to use up a tin of pellets on a shoot such as that. Enjoyed the humour on the seperate bed issue. Davy may look younger but your puritter!

Nice video and a very nice rifle. Do you think the would be much of a difference between the 12 Ft/LBs. S510 and the S510 FAC Xtra? I expect that there would be quite a bit more range on the .22, but having never owned a PCP (Only pumps and springers) is the trajectory a lot flatter? I am thinking of getting the S510 mainly for target shooting up to about 80 Yards or small vermin on my land and looking at the Air Arms guns they seem very well made and very consistent. (The one that is available here though is unregulated) Cheers!

It’s certainly one hell of a year for big rats fellas, I’ve been going out nearly every night on various locations and I’ve never seen rats as big as they are this year they are more like flipping beavers! I’m using dry dog food and peanuts put through the blender to crumb it up with a tablespoon of gravy powder to give it a irresistible scent for them as bait and it works every time they can’t resist it. I’m off out again within the next hour on a permission along the road. How strange the phone has just rang asking me if I’d be willing to have a go at their rat problem, I can’t keep up lads I need a shooting buddy!

seems you have an agenda m8. blokes bunk all the time. in the military for instance . A real bloke can bunk up. It is a tip, they will be picked of by birds and or disposed of. If indeed you want to pick up with so many you can only really do it in daylight. some be eaten etc. certain types of ground allow you to see every taken quarry. But a tip. when you go back the rats have kicked themselves back in the pile etc

At this location no we don't pick up rats. It would be hard and probably dangerous to try to climb the piles of rubbish after bodies. The management are happy with the machinery moving dead rats in the day light.
