Brilliant si ,I called down @ Sandwell about 2 weeks ago to drop my Hw98 off for tuning and to buy and put my name down on the waiting list for 1 of these 20cal s but I ended up buying a diana mod 52 in 177 and left it with Tony and saul for the full tune up , when I go to pick both guns up (around 18/20 weeks) I'll definitely put an order in for 1 of these jack snipes , love 20cal I've got a Sandwell tuned hw95 in 20cal witch shoots amazing, the lads @ Sandwell really do know there stuff and are very friendly.

Tidy little rifle, reminds me of the fenman also a great rifle that had a 7 inch barrel but the gas ram and the short barrel made the lock time super quick, . nice shooting on the bunnies and that 55 yard stander was sweet. atb phil.

proof for those who chase 11.5+ft-lb that you don't need it and in fact can be detrimental for accurate stringer shooting, you'd think the 20 cal would be far more popular then it is being a half way house between .177 and .22 👍... well have to give Nelson club a visit, not to far from me.

I had an Airwolf in .20 sub 12 & it breaks my heart I let her go, absolutely trustworthy target consistency, incredible trajectory & the swirl patterns in the fur of rabbits heads showed how devastating it was, she loved HW FT Exact ( in fact they pip the post on the majority of my many sub 12vers, might have to see if they do heavies for fac ) shame I got week and she became to heavy for me unfortunately

Thanks for the video Si, its really useful for beginners like myself, this helps me understand its not just about loading a pellet aiming and firing. Have you ever or would you consider doing a series of video's, to teach people who are just getting into the sport, starting with the very basic kit required, how to shoot accurately, principles of air gun shooting, do's and don'ts etc. I for one would follow these with great interest, and find them invaluable, Thanks Si, also Sandwell Field Sports are great people and a great shop, Tony is a legend

Oh goody - VHTV reviewing a springer in .20! Love my 95 in .20 - it prefers the Daystate Kaisers over all else - recent batch of H&N's just fall into the breech and then fly all over. Would love to have a try with the Jack Snipe. Have a go at 100 yds, Si - it's addictive! So satisfying to get a good group. I need to watch this again. Haven't been able to grab a full 40 mins in one sitting. Appreciate your efforts. Any comments on hold sensitivity? That's my bugbear.

Long time no see Si!, been off the net for quite some time 🙃 glad to see you are still at it my friend 👍 I’m currently on a Crown fac .25 & just received my superior slug liner ( only one in the U.K. I believe ) but by far the greatest time I had ie the most successful in sub 12 was in .20 👍 without a shadow of a doubt the most versatile and consistent size I’ve ever used 😎 all the best mate & after all this crazy lockdown is over the invite to Cornwall still stands 🎣🤙

Nice review. Very impressive with a sub 12 FPE rifle. I consider myself very lucky that FPE laws don’t exist here in the states. I never realized what a challenge or the kinda awesome skill it takes to hit targets with pin point accuracy at such long distances with that level of power. I tried to shot 50 yards with my Nova Vista Liberty .22 on low power but after doing the math the rifle is still putting out 19.7 FPE so even at that it was quiet a challenge for me compared to holding dead-on on high power at the same distance. .20s are not common at all over here and would be very difficult for me to find not to mention ammo. They do have a better BC than the .22 and better energy at distance. Awesome shooting bud. Great video. Thank you.

Hi Si what one piece scope mount do you have on there I had a weihrauch one piece on my hw80 then bought an airmax 3-9x40 and the mount that previously fit my hawke vantage was to long so I put the mount on some hi presision equipment and cut a piece out. Now it fits the airmax but is now a two piece that’s tight together. She is shooting three shots at 18 yards through the same ragged hole now. Being a retired machinist I did some other work on my rifle as well thanks

What’s the point of cutting the barrel down on the 99S? Surely that just reduces accuracy and power? I’m thinking the logic is to reduce the snappiness of the gun?

Nice video and really nice to have you back. I am not quite sure if that rifle in .20 really offers any advantage over a well sorted .177. Your calculated BC for the pellet used was more or less in line with that of the JSB diablo Exact .177 and way behind the .22 version ( I have calculated it to be 0.026 ) . In anycase the rifle appears to be quite accurate at range and that is what counts but persoanlly I'd stick to a .22 and JSB exact express. Thanks for an entertaining video.
