Some people turn their nose up when you talk about cattys, although they are cheap, primitive and relatively simple as far as a piece of kit goes in the right hands it's deadly to almost everything you can shoot with a airgun. I grew up shooting cattys as did my dad n his dad it's a real skill and not something to be snubbed or sniffed at. The fact it's hard is even more of a reason to have a go and keep having a go till your good enough to get a rabbit or three that is really rewarding! I for one really enjoyed this si 😁 keep em coming nice to see another bit of something that makes up the bigger picture that is field sports/craft to go with the airguning and knife making 👍

Well done Si, nice little film, just ordered a caty from the game keeper and 8mm bb’s. Lovely result, gonna have a go myself now as I’ve ordered spare bands as well, thanks for taking the time to do this.👍

Hi , it might help to lightly sand the Acrylic before gluing as it makes the plastic more porous and increases the gluing surface area . Hope this help , all the best ..........

A good tool to get is a router get some 18mm ply with round over bit you will get a nice roundover edge all over every edge of the frame. It be 9mm roundover bit so its equal on both sides.

Should come to solihull shoot in the summer if this Corona fucks off. It's a 2 day camping event hunters course targets are about size of a can and they placed at all ranges. Everyone's placed in teams il let you know the details. That's my local shoot in the year it's a very very good atmosphere and shooting. I hope to do well this year if it's not cancelled with Corona in air
