Shoot At Extremes! Two Lenses At The Same Location | Landscape Photography In British Columbia

In this video I discuss the use of two different focal lengths in order to achieve a very different image with the same scene and location. I find that shooting landscape and waterfall photography with extreme opposite ends with lens selection will help you achieve a great range of success with nature photography. Awesome tip Aaron. Love the forced perspective on the over-shoulder shot to the falls, really creates a natural draw of your attention from wide to narrow focus...

A beautiful scene. Do you ever focus stack to have both foreground and background in focus? I liked the wide angle images.

Hi Wendy, thank you for watching and commenting! I sometimes focus stack if needed. When I want depth of field to truly be from feet to infinity then focus stacking is necessary but I do find that stopping down is mostly enough with a single image if focused about half way in to the scene.
