SHOCKED by Canada's multicultural diversity (Celebrating Canada Day) 🇨🇦

Our first Canada Day in over 5 years!
Canada Day is celebrated on July 1st. It is a long weekend, and most people go to the cottage or go camping away from the city. Many families also gather together for some BBQ, and the rest gather in their local city hall to celebrate with music, food, and fireworks. We went to Mississauga Celebration Square to see how Canadians celebrate Canada Day. We see lots of newcomers, immigrants, and new Canadians celebrating. We are so happy to see of how proud they are to be Canadian. It shows the uniqueness of Canada with its multicultural diversity, and yet we all come together to celebrate this important day. We are proud to be Canadians! Check out the vlog. HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!

God bless you for saying Dundas Square. 😊 After all, the name changing controversy of Dundas Square it's an insult to the older generation of Canadians who visit Dundas Square multiple times . Cheers 🍻 Canada 🇨🇦

I understood your feeling about the portuguese jerseys and flags. You are right. It does cause estrangement amidst a national celebration, inside Canada. But I am totally sure it had to do with the Eurocup, since Portugal played Eslovenia earlier that day, and had a very difficult game against it. Wearing national jerseys during Eurocup games is quite common amongst portuguese imigrants and expats. But they shouldn't have gone to the streets mixing celebrations that way. It sounded disrespectful. Portuguese people are a bit naive sometimes and don't understand certain squeamiashness (I know that: my wife is Portuguese, LOL!).

LOL! Yeah, it was probably from eurocup. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at the time, so I figured I would mention it in the video

19 $ milkshake? Vincent Vega thought in Pulp Fiction that 5 $ is a lot for a milkshake. It was damn good, but maybe still not worth 5 $.

Yeah these food trucks and stalls are a price gouge in all festivals. They all seem to price their food for $10 bucks and above for small amounts. Crazzyyy

Happy Belated Canada Day. You are NOT wrong. That was a DISGUSTINGLY expensive price for the poutine (& some of the other prices I saw there!) Gouging people is NOT appropriate - EVER! - ESPECIALLY if you claim to be Canadian - (you know, the kind, compassionate people that we are SUPPOSED TO BE!) - & EVEN MORE - at a CELEBRATION?!? I don't care whether it was greed from the food trucks (as I am guessing it was) or was greed from the square (which I bet it ALSO was) - when charging for space to be a vendor in the square (something to take up with your city councillor & mayor for next year & other celebrations there) - as the vendors then pass on the exorbitant cost to customers. WHOEVER was responsible it was AWFUL GREED at the expense of "fellow" Canadians on a day of CELEBRATION! Canadians (& their visitors), DESERVE better! (You should ALSO be making a point of a LACK of ENOUGH garbage cans!. Come on. This isn't a new celebration! Canada Day happens every year so they should be aware of how many cans they are going to need - even if they have to rent some from the United States for the day! Despite all this, I am glad that you had a good day for Canada Day with your family.
