Shock of Transplanting: Transitioning from small pots into garden beds is traumatic for young plants

Ойын-сауық

Transplanting seedlings from small pots into permanent garden beds is traumatic for plants. Plus in spring, when the most transplanting happens, the weather is unstable. Young transplants suffer, and gardeners get worried looking at the shriveled, shewed up by the bugs, starter plants. Is there hope for them to get over the shock and start thriving?

It's mid-June now, and the peppers are completely recovered. They grew a lot, put out a ton of flowers, and some fruit that is up to 3 inches long by now As an experiment, I kept them untreated. The diatomecious earth I sprinkled them with is mostly washed off during waterings, and the spraying I showed in the video was water, not pesticide.
