All due respect Ami, I completely disagree with you. I think that you are not understanding what it is that he was trying to represent. You see I am no fan of his in general. I actually don't really like him too much. What he did was to expose how the world looks at us. He portrayed the exact way the overwhelming majority of people feel towards the Jews towards us. As sick as it may look on the surface, it is quite ingenious. He wasn't lying. The world hates us. This is been going on since time and memorial. It's a baseless irrational hatred and that's the point he was trying to give. I've also watched all of the things that Candice Owens has said. At first I thought she was just ignorant which she is, but the truth is, she is a Jew hater just like a majority of this country is. Just like the world is. She sees everything through a political lens. She cannot accept the idea that the United States has allies in the world. She is a isolationist. She doesn't feel that we should be giving Israel money or anyone else. Ironically, even though she is wrong I agree with her in part. It is long past due that Israel gets off the tit of the United States. We will lose our land if we do not act the way the Torah commands us to especially pertaining to war. Candice looks at Jews and have we have in large part taken care of our own and have flourished in this country. She resents this because unfortunately her community, as a whole, speaking in generality, cannot say the same thing. I could go on and on because I have so much more to say but the bottom line is, Jew hatred is not the same thing as all of the other hatreds and prejudices. It is unique just like we the Jewish people are. Again, our uniqueness is a huge part of why people are jealous of us and hate us. Too many black people hate Jews even though it was us Jews, standing by them and fighting with them every step of the way for civil rights. Oh how shortly we forget history. Remember, she is a good friend to Kanye West and she never ever disavowed anything that he said. I lost all respect for her on that day. You see, when people are put into a corner their true colors come out.

If I was a show runner I'd shepherd the Norman and Shmuley sitcom to legendary status.

There is something not right with Rabbi Shmuley. I love Israel and the Jewish people. Candace presents herself a bit better but her ego is huge and her ideas are destructive - she had the gall to go on a muslim podcast and apologize for all of America for the attitudes after 9/11, she was 11 years old when 9/11 happened. I was in my late 20s, Candace is completely wrong about her re-writing of the aftermath of 9/11. Sorry, but the fact that Candace was confused about the muslim quarter in the first place is very telling.

Shmuli Boteach is not a Rabbi and he does not represent people of my faith (Jewish). Rabbis are the world's most loving humans. They are kind and moral and they bring peace among all people. If you know someone who doesn't fit that description you can be sure the person you know IS NOT a Rabbi

Rabbis have been condemning and criticizing him for years & decades, but the Rabbis that condemn/criticize him don't promote themselves, so you won't hear about them unless you're in the Jewish Community.

I think people are wrong. Shmuley did a good job to call out these anti-Semites! Jews should be united to fight, not to criticise Shmuley for doing something against haters! Shmuley is just fed up with beeing the nice devoted bowing Jew. It’s time to fight back and call them out for what they are!

I appreciate this reaction video. I don't really follow Rav Shmuely because I find him a little too National Enquirer. I agree with you that in this case what he has done has crossed the line. I think. I saw your episode with Candace Owens which I think you were excellent in countering her strongly in a calm way. It actually would be nice to see her have another televised conversation with you. I think she is quite ignorant about Israel and though she is sorting her opinions via public conversations instead of private research I still think the right person could set her in the right direction. As for Rav Shmuely, it would be great if even n private you could speak to him about his tactics. If you are as measured as you are in this video it could help.

You are 100% incorrect that Candace was ignorant or misinformed. Go and watch that episode as an observer not a participant. It is so very obvious that she absolutely did not believe that Muslims could only live in the Muslim quarter. You can hear it in her tone and see it in her movement, but you don’t even need to look very hard. All you have to do is think. do you actually believe someone could walk through the Muslim Quarter and believe that that is what they were seeing? And if they actually did that they wouldn’t be outraged and talked to people about it right then and there or the day after or the day after that. And if somebody that Muslims could only live in the Muslim quarter every single Israeli (Arab or Jew) who would swiftly correct her. Furthermore, when she was walking in the other quarters of the old city, she didn’t see muslims walking around? This is the type of light that a narcissist will tell somebody because they think there’s no way they can prove that it’s a lie there’s no way they can actually know for certain what I’m thinking, thinking inside of my head so they will lie and pretend that they think something that it is clearly obvious they do not. There is no adult alive in the United States that if you took them over to the old city in Jerusalem could see the Muslim quarter and believe that Muslims were confined to live only within that quarter. And the fact that she actually claimed that a rabbi who was giving a tour, told it to her makes it even more laughable. Do you know what kind of license you have to get to give a tour of the old city in Jerusalem? She said it to manipulate the ears of her audience so that there was a question left they would be able to cling to because you had performed much better than she had expected when she realized the show was almost up she was frustrated that she didn’t come out looking like a boss. She really thought she was educated and informed about the issue and she thought you were a stupid comedian. It was not in good faith, and I agree with you that you should come to discussions with people who disagree in good faith, and assume that they have good faith as well however, you need to be able to spot the ones who are egregious in their dishonesty, because pretending like they are included in the ones who have good faith is actually more harmful to public discourse. if you had responded back to her when she said that blatant lie that she had believed that could only live in that one quarter, if you had responded to her and told her to her face right away “ no Candace, you didn’t think that. That’s not true.” Calmly and in a dry emotional tone, she wouldn’t have admitted the truth, but she would’ve been tripped up for how to respond to that and it would’ve been very obvious by her stumbling and reaction that she was lying and you were just not accepting that BS. You pretended that you believed her, even though you thought that it was a stretch and so highly unlikely that someone could actually believe that you wanted to take her at her because you wanted to have good faith so you resisted your gut instinct and you pretended like it was a possibility in this universe that she actually believed what she had just said to you.

I appreciate some of the issues that Candace has raised and am a little disappointed in Ben’s behavior. After all, what’s he been doing all these years, bitching about identity politics, only to make Israel your line in the sand? And for what reason might that be, I wonder? I have zero problem with this, being on Israel’s side make this stance that much easier. Just don’t lie to me. Recently listened to some guy on “The Grayzone” blaming Shmuly for the rise in antisemitism. This I find completely absurd. Or maybe I don’t want to believe that people think this way. However, logically it just doesn’t compute. The three men listed above are their own people. How could they possibly and/or properly represent this millennia-old religion? Ridiculous and offensive. That said, I don’t see this from Candace. It may be that the three rabbis are bad representatives, but representatives, full stop? Please.

Very good show.. it’s the first show I’ve seen to give a critical comment in a balance way from a Jew on another Jew, I often see Jews stick together no matter what.. you give me hope in seeing a better future.. The way he behaves in the so called debate on Morgan show is very disgraceful, he behaves just like the islamists. I've said it for a while he is doing more harm then good.
