    You mean like this? Ben-Gurion- “it is impossible to imagine general evacuation [of the Arab population] without compulsion, and brutal compulsion” "Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country" Ze'ev Jabotinsky- "If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison for the land, or find a benefactor who will maintain the garrison on your behalf. ... Zionism is a colonizing adventure and, therefore, it stands or falls on the question of armed forces"

    Ami, I say this as a neighborly Englewood Jew. By all means, continue speaking to Candace to bring views to your channel, but I sense you're letting her "admiration" of you get to your head. She is at best an disingenuous opportunistic troll, or worse an antisemitic talking head for her Jew-hating fanbase. You've given her every chance to explain herself. You simply cannot convince me that her spouting conspiracy theories about Jewish "rings" and "gangs" -- about individuals who would deny such affiliations, unlike her false analogy with Crips/Bloods and the Italian Mafia who openly admit gang status -- does not make her the most primitive form of antisemite. At some point your survival instincts need to kick out your benefit of the doubt, and make clear that someone who is befriended by Kanye, praised by Nick Fuentes and shares his fanbase, does not wish well upon us.

    Yep. I mean, this is too generous of an analysis to Candace. She is willingly ignorant not only on Israel/Palestine, which she is supremely ignorant about but about Jews too. She is a conspiracy theorist, that's what she dwells in. All bad things/unexplained are Mossad/CIA/Israel just sheer crap that all of the west's worst enemies also delightfully indulge in. She's a horseshoe theorists and repeats revisionist history popularized by groypers. Basically it was tiring for me to hear - she's an antisemite. Sorry, that's the truth. She has a huge platform and that's what she promotes on it.

And please clarify what "culture" you think Ami is not following. It's Dave Smith's moral duty to examine his own identity as a Jewish person. On the other hand, what agenda does Candace have for obsessing over Jewish issues to the point of creating conspiracy theories? If you want Jews to be friends with people who create conspiracy theories about us and dogwhistle with medieval blood libels to Jew-haters on social media, who are unwilling to change their minds, I suppose that says more about your views on friendship.

    You went on Candace’s show to give her perspective. Unfortunately, she’s not open to any other but her own. She spewed the same rhetoric on Piers’ show - an angry, aggressive diatribe allowing no conversation. I just don’t see where Rabbi Schmooly has anything to do with the overall picture but she won’t let that go as though he represents all Jews. That’s personal between the two. Candace is a bitter, angry and hateful person now. I don’t know if the DW curtailed her or if she has, in fact, changed. She lost me when she doubled-down on Kanye’s post. He was wrong, she is wrong and I think they both are who they’re accused of being.

Truth is after hearing Candace on piers I def thought she was an anti semite now I’m a little not sure. But the reason why Jews can’t really argue the whole ant Zionist arguments is because you can’t really say the truth and it will be accepted as truth. They want all the Jews dead, they don’t want the land period. It’s really hard to argue that with people who don’t understand the truth in that. lol at the predictable suggestion that Candace may “profit” from going on a propaganda tour in Israel…. FYI: she went to Israel with Charlie Kirk when they moved the embassy to Jerusalem, being that Charlie is an avid Israel supporter Im sure she got a full understanding of what the Israeli perspective is while on that trip. Unfortunately for Zionists, even with all the white washing of the occupation, she was incredibly uncomfortable with the blatantly unfair treatment of the Palestinians (she used terms like “second class citizens” and “segregation” if I remember correctly..) So I’m sure she could indeed “profit” (oops can we say Freudian slip on your part?) if she went on another trip to Israel, but she’s far too principled to do something like that.

    Her care and compassion is focused on the suffering of the Palestinian children who are CURRENTLY being killed by American and Israeli weapons of war, who are suffering the deprivations of siege warfare to include starvation. Blaming and blasting her for not choosing to ignore this suffering in favor of silence would be like asking her to deny her own children. People forget the she was very pregnant as the death toll of Palestinian children began to climb. And then she gave birth. I don’t know Candace, but in the early days of the conflict I believe I saw a mother whose only concern was the safety and welfare of children. From this position everything else has flowed. Skipping past this point misses her position completely and quite frankly, I respect it. The world needs more mothers who are not afraid to allow their mothering instincts to extend beyond their front door. This war could be prosecuted in different ways. We have limitless money, we have time, we have ingenuity, we have control. Dozens of thousands of children need not be killed.

    I've been loving your appearances with Candace, and I hope you do more together. I like that you have NOT been approaching all of the appearances you've done so far on her channel with a very "debate bro" vibe...I think you gave the honest answers every single time, and people who have an open mind and truly want to understand will resonate with your genuine approach and try to see it from the J perspective. I have mixed thoughts on Candace. I like seeing the critiquing of US interventionism and the political and economic motivations of war. I appreciate that she's been doing that. I also think a lot of people from this perspective let their critiques of the West stop them from having critiques of the regressive Middle East...like they have to pick a team and go to extreme lengths to position it among neatly drawn, black and white lines. We've all been told that the pro-Pal movement isn't about hating J's, it's simply a reaction to the people whose presence disadvantages them...yet it's telling that their movement seems to require breaking down the basis of J ethnicity itself, constantly drudging up J history to weaponize against J's, and basically justifying any hate or violnce towards Israelis and "Zionists". They've made it about J's at every turn. Not Israel or it's policies, but J's as a people. Candace will position herself as this hardcore anti-idpol figure, but who keeps interjecting J identity into these conversations? Candace and every anti-Israel figure under the sun that has to moralize the Palestinian cause by putting J's down. It's also worth noting that Candace seems to suddenly become pro-idpol when it's concerning her support for black anti-semites and black pdf files like MJ. People take her at her word, but what I find more interesting is the way she frames issues when J's are involved. As this "pick yourself up by the bootstraps" conservative that's never had critiques of the "1%" and wealth disparity, corporations, or lobbyists, nor the system itself, it's noteworthy that she suddenly has critiques of people in power when she can suggest J organizations have too much power. When asked about her thoughts on J's, she often brings up this dichotomy of Christianity vs J's in a very oppositional and divisive way. We're all supposed to think she's this dissident figure, but she's making choices to intentionally troll J's. It's like the woman that got famous for saying the n-word and getting backlash. They pretend to be victims of sensitive woke idpol and cancel cultyure because yes...that is a prominent issue as well, but instead these are just rage bait people trying to instigate groups of people and then claiming they're being sensitive when they respond to the instigation. And holy shyt...the amount of anti-Semitism I see online (just look at Candace's comments section) is wild. You're right, antisemitism doesn't carry a lot of cultural weight. I think J's keep thinking they can utilize the idpol playbook like other minority groups, but it just doesn't work. There is no J card that can be pulled. Instead, I think doing what you do here...discussing and being reasonable with people who disagree, instead of resorting to labels and name calling, is the best bet for J's.

People I watch like Glenn Greenwald have criticized Shapiro and others for being critical of BLM but then acting like J students are unsafe on campuses, as if the two things are analogous safe space people, but then I see clips of a mob of anti-Israel students literally trying to bust down the doors where J students were gathering in a small group or the clips of a mass amount of what looked to be 100 Russian Muslims at the airport running the building about to storm the Israelis that just landed. Sorry, not sorry...i find it pretty serious when ideologues that want to unalive J people are gathering in mass to get J people or organizing around the pretense that hurting Israelis is worthy of celebration. • @Life_Examined

    @Life_Examined

    You probably get different answers because it's a complicated question and many Jews aren't educated on the answer themselves. Jews are bearers of an ancient culture and civilization, indigenous to the land of Judea and ancient Israel. After Jews were forced out of the land and into global diaspora, their skin color changed by mixing into other societies (e.g. Europe, North Africa, Middle East). Judaism allows conversion (Moses' wife herself wasn't Jewish), which resulted in many of us looking different (e.g. Mizrahi, Ashkenazi, Ethiopian). Regardless of appearance and regional divisions, Jews from around the world have preserved their ancient culture, traditions, and Hebrew language/texts, and connection to Jerusalem for thousands of years. A Jew is anyone whose family lineage has continually preserved their ancient culture and identity, or converted into it. The reason atheists/agnostic Jews (like myself) are considered Jewish, in my opinion, is because Hitler and other historical antisemites would've killed me for being Jewish. They believed, and still believe, the thing they hate about Jews, is rooted to my core. This is largely based on the accusations of us as a people conspiring to kill Christ and various disturbing blood libels that have been consistently passed down to uneducated populations through propaganda. Many Jews don't like to admit this, but we are bound together by our persecution. We must stick together, not because of our beliefs, but because we are vulnerable when we don't. This has unfortunately become a necessary group identity in itself. Look at how Jews of all religious levels have banded together since Oct. 7th. This is a pattern throughout history: our survival instinct to be tight-knit and successful or perish has fueled conspiracy theories that we continually have to fight against, and sadly has defined much of our historical identity as well.

  • @NatanFIL

    @NatanFIL

    It's very simple actually, Jews are pretty much a tribe, with the same Eunice religion and tradition, we share commun roots and a Homeland. While being scattered around the world we did everything not to mix with others to preserve our identity (but wars and other stuff happen through history so obviously there is no genetic purity - which is not an issue for us). That's why you don't really convert to Judaism but actually join our people, in a similar way that a native American tribe could accept an outsider who from that moment will merge in to the tribe. If you're not religious you are still a member of the group, because religion is just one part of our identity, and as long as a person is born to a Jewish mother - his Jewishness is a birthright according to our law.

    Ami you are always very gracious with her and it was obvious to me that you weren't trying to debate, but discuss conversationally. The thing about her point at the end is that it was disingenuous from her. She believes Zionist Cabal /Mossad Conspiracy theories so she's not just an isolationist on this issue. She has a worldview that Israel is actually the enemy. That's obvious from her shows. Until she recognizes that these are age old lies, she's headed in a bad direction. One thing you did that was really strong was pointing out the strong marriage and family ethic in the Jewish community, and asked her why she couldn't recognize those. She seemed to receive that. Also at the end when you reminded her that Bibi will be voted out one day... she seemed responsive there as well. The idea that the difference between the BLM talking points and the current ones from the mainstream Jewish community is that the latter are accurate seems pretty ridiculous to me. However, I'd be interested in seeing you discuss this with Glenn Greenwald, who I think does the best job on the other side of that question. Here's his most recent relevant video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/YmaTmNCxh8q7prg.html I'm pretty sure Glenn has an open door in terms of having podcast discussions so it probably could easily happen.

    In all honesty, I don't think either of you gave an inch. I think if one is looking, they will find a reason to cope that doesn't align with what happened, no matter how large the group think, as I read your video's commentents. But, trust, both sides walked away disappointed. And, you can't expect a tone that reflects a lack of confidence in a debate. It just doesn't objectively work.

    The insight on this show is so poor and shallow. I like how the dude critiques Candace on the use of "they" and then he goes ahead and refers to "these people". The hypocrisy is off the charts. When US is passing law in the country for a specific ppl which cannot be critiqued (even a government) tell me how that is not a problem for a US citizen.

    Ami: When we hear things as a community that are objectionable. Kind of his overriding theme is of Jews as a community. Other guy: Candace talks about Jews as "them" or "you guys" = Bad A few minutes later: She said you were 'sensible', and I find that condescending like there are good Jews and bad Jews. Checked out of this clown conversation 🤡🤡🤡

    I really liked and appreciated Candace in the earlier years because of her boldness, and ability to spit out facts so quick and easy. She saw through the woke ideas of BLM and denounced black victimhood. But when I started being concerned was when it seemed she had an obsession with Kanye West and other celebrities. And then she married a devout Catholic. She says she's a Christian but tends to wear it on her sleeve. She's Christian when it's good for her. She doesn't seem as biblically knowledgeable as you'd think a Christian should be. The Catholic Church as a whole is not Christian. She's married to one and I feel she is afraid to research it because her husband and father of her children would be found to be in a cult.

    You didn't have a great showing there, but that's mainly because you were attempting a good faith conversation with a bad faith actor. I'd expound on this, but it's farting in the wind, so I'll just leave it with that she likes the "funny" jews, you know she'll smile and giggle as you do your impersonations (which are great, btw). I've become a big fan of Yishai Fleisher, you should definitely have him on, would be a hella Ami's House episode! He was on a Pierce Morgan panel not long ago, along with some Norman Finkelstein-type of Israeli hamasniks. His response to one of them when they were spewing their bs: "Well, that's your warped view, and I can't help you with that." And that's where I'm at, as a jew. We need to stop explaining, trying to justify, etc...and just get 'er done. Go Israel, and all jews need to get fit, get trained, get armed if inclined too, but in general just harden the f*k up. Peace out!

    I love candance, and im listening to the guy totally misunderstand and twist her words re the " boring " comment, ( sorry i dont know your name before i typed this ) and yes he was incorrect. But this is the whole issue. Its not that SHE is anti semetic, anti zionist perhaps, but that people totally misunderstand her point and refuse to accept that she can say what ever she feels. Now im upset though 😮 bc how can you say its unfair that jews have to defend themselves when bad jewish people commit bad things, and then you said like the muslims, when they have to defend their religion/race when a terroist attack happens...then u back tracked and said although their bad people comes from their religious ideolgy ( im paraphrasing you). But you are doing exactly what you are accusing others of doing.. generalising. The difference between everyday average muslims and islamic extremists is culture. There is nothing in the quran that preaches killing. Its a religion of forgiveness. These islamists,have NOTHING in common with a normal muslim. Just like normal jewshave nothing to do with ideological zionist jews. Dont become what you accuse others of. Anyway i think you are really nice and sensible. And I'll have to watch your comedy now 😊
