It's June 17, 2021 and guess what? 54 year old Shirley Manson is still knocking around the music stage and looking forward to it. Thing is, we all change with age. Things we say earlier in life that we would never do, we end up doing. We live through several successive versions of ourselves throughout life.

54 this past week and Shirley is still rockin'.... thank goodness!

I love Shirley so much!

I appreciated the host. She really met Shirley at a respectable level. Also, it took me 2 more interviews of Shirley for me to get used to the Scottish accent I never knew she had! It makes listening to her vocals that much more interesting. Now I'm gonna go back to listening to some Garbage...

She is right. Garbage to me just means them now and not garbage. I think in a way the name fits since they have said that they wanted pop to sound not good or horrible. To sound like garbage i assume. Still rocking in her middle 50's now and lets hope for many more years.

Craig Ferguson has a Glasgow accent, Shirley has an Edinburgh accent. Two different coasts. Only an hour in the car apart, but there's a big difference in accents on the journey.

I don't know if that's her real hair color, but I'm pretty sure it is. She is lovely!!! And charming.

Just saw them in concert. She got mad after someone was bouncing a balloon over the crowd and yelled "I'm 56 years old! I'm too old for that shite!"
