She should change her name from Shirley Bassey to 'The One'. She's 85 and she looks and sounds great. She can still hit the high notes with no vocal wobble. I'd pay to fly around the world to see her in concert again.

At 85 y.o. she is absolutely gorgeous.

Love her, have loved her for so many years, starting from my maternal grandmother's home (she brought me up) Mum passed when I was two 1946) She used to let me come downstairs and watch the TV. Shirley would be on Saturday night TV, maybe the London Palladium. I always thought she was fantastic, still do!

85 year old Shirley Bassey singing better than other singers in their 20's and 30's. Dame said "That's how it's done."

I can't never think of bond songs without thinking of this awesome phenomenal lady.

I once had the honour of attending one of her concerts at Hampton Court. We had Vip front row seats and those winks she gave us,still live strong in the memory. Dame Shirley is nothing short of a legend. We ❤ you.

I met her once too Neil after a Carnegie Hall concert in 1985; Despite getting back on the road weeks after her younger daughters tragic drowning death, she was nice to me & stopped to greet me before getting into her limo, gave me a handshake, got a kiss in, and a few words exchanged with an autograph & I still have it framed. She's the most versatile fenale singer I've ever heard and my favorite !!

Appearance wise, Bassey personifies the term 'aging gracefully'. Vocally, she can still belt like Bassey in her prime which is remarkable given her age.

To be fair it has aged, compare Goldfinger in this video to the original in 1964 BUT, it is even more remarkable now...some voices age well & some don't, Shirley's is probably the best example of the former...fantastic performer.

A CLASS act always! I was 7 years old when I went to see Goldfinger in the Theater . 60 years later I’m still enjoying this live!

Is it me..... Or do the British always seem to make things regal, proper w a higher class and I mean this in a very positive and complimentary way. (And yes, I know Dame Shirley Bassey is Welsh and always gives a powerful rendition to her classic song) But I always like, how the British music productions bring out the "Nobility" of the perfomance.

Simply unbelievable. There is no-one like her.

This may sound a bit morbid but it would be amazing for this current generation to fall in love wth Dame Shirley b4 it's too late.

I simply love the way she sings - the expressiveness and the gestures.

Agree 💯 % , she ' s sung Bond themes for 3 movies, the only artist to do more than 1 Bond theme and that's because she's the best 👌 ❤

So good to watch this again. I was there and the atmosphere was totally electric. The ovations she received before, during and after her performance were phenomenal. I feel blessed to have witnessed this wonderful woman "live".

I got the privilege to see her live once in my life, I was close to the stage. I will remember it forever. As a Bond fan my whole life, the music makes Bond. I will always love her.

She is my female favorite, definitely The Queen of "Classical Pop" Vocals as she's referred to her musical repertoire - there's no one as versatile as she. Britain's Greatest female singer ever !! But it would be even greater to have her sing some of her other great songs from "The Rhythm Devine" to "The Living Tree". She's usually always is requested to sing "Goldfinger" or "Diamonds are Forever".

Wow! This woman is EXCEPTIONAL! She is born the same day as Elvis Presley was. He was born in the Year Of the Dog and she the Year Of The Rat. This woman is in her 80's almost 90 and she belts out as when she was in her 30's; INCREDULOUS! I LOVE ❤this woman; her life has NOT been peaches and cream; dealing with racism, exploitation, suicide of a child; rejections etc... and in the end, the DAME is still standing; God bless 🙏 your spirit; you're AMAZING!

She were extremely gorgeous as a young entertainer in the 50s/60s with a voice that was out of this world. Obviously her voice will change with time but her face is still very beautiful I must say.

No matter her aging, just close your eyes ! And you'll be back 50 years...

1955 as a cabin boy on the Heysham to Belfast ferry, Shirley was traveling to perform at the Opera theatre Belfast; she and her manager sat up ; all night in tourist class, could'nt afford a cabin'. So in the morning I made her a mug of tea before disembarking. I was in Australia in January 2956 when I read her talent was discovered, arriving in Liverpool in April 1956 Shirley was performing at the Liverpool Empire; her first song she sang was "From this moment on". Shirley is a Diva, though what a talent.
