If bjp did not offer a single seat for muslims to contest in the lok sabha election 2019, Barkha Dutt can questioned why no muslim mp in bjp. Bjp offered 6 seats to muslims candidates in muslim majority seats, but the muslim voters rejected them as the mindset of muslims are so against bjp. So is bjp to be blamed?

The point is this, you see, the BJP, 10 years ago, 15 years ago, did not jettison the term Secularism, it was still fighting shy to say that, they were hindu waters. That has been jettisoned by Modi completely. Hindutva plays upon our base instincts. It plays upon our insecurities. It appeals to the dark side of us. Hindutva is the political creed of the Modi Government. It thrives on skillful manipulation of the base instincts of it's Social and Cultural insecurities, that lie badly concealed beneath the political top soil. You need to look more closely or you know it, but denyng this fact.

@@J.M.254 Problem is people are only seeing the Hindutva part they are not interested in the actual work the BJP government is doing. For your kind info, even Muslims have voted for BJP and it's because of their work else if they are so polarized none of the Muslims would have voted in their favour. Few would never understand this, perhaps for them the opposition is far better but at least for the 70-80% of the country population the current government is better and it will be reelected again in 2024. If you think of any doubt you can check results in next year.

You are talking about no Muslim president in the last 9 years but there were zero presidents from the tribal community in the last 75 years . BJP did well to correct it.

Very brilliant answer . Himanta Da said in an interview that I work for welfare and development of all including Muslims 4years and 11 months during 5 years tenure but don't go to seek their votes during 1 month during election period .

The entire interview is such a great example of whataboutism, and deflecting the questions, he has mastered all the argumentative fallacies and this is exactly how one should debate, such an amazing politician, I see a good future for him in this country.
