Well I am from Assam and I must say whatever Zafar shaab said about bengali speaking muslims and assamese speaking muslims in Assam (at 37:05 ) is absolutely correct. Zafarji is simply Amazing and Awesome. I am an ardent follower him since long.

Riots disturb & harm people from every community, religion, caste, and creed. Need to understand that not only muslim people were killed, but hindus were killed too. I was studying in 2002, and our society was attacked by the Muslim community multiple times. It is rage and vengeance that takes over during such times irrespective of religion. But, the Muslim community has to come out of a victim mentality and uplift themselves, respect the law of land, and concentrate on education and growth.

Great to see a person not bearing any rancour or ill will towards the PM simply on the basis of religion. His concluding remarks should be something that everyone should listen to and adopt. Zafarji has given a perspective not many leftists (the so called champions of Muslim cause) want to face. I so agree with many things he said, but the one that sticks the most is this - Get your work done without politicising or stretching an issue. You cannot fight endlessly. At some point you have to sit down and make peace with your enemy, because you can't change the fact you have to coexist on the same land.

I’ve listened to Barkha almost after 10 years (thanks to Zafar bhai) and she still seems to carry the biased attitude. Now I understand that she wouldn’t change and also it doesn’t matter anymore, coz her instigative reporting doesn’t have much impact in today’s India!
