With PRINCE you either got it or were clueless of his talents and vision. He was a masterful genius who changed, revolutionized and challenged the world. Prince was the embodiment of art and what a blessing it has been to be his fan since 1982. He lives in his songs and our hearts forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheena and Prince were awesome together. Especially loved "Arms of Orion" It should have been a bigger hit than it was. From the Batman soundtrack.

We as artists are always viewed as eccentric, but the fact is, we're just very creative and we run with it. Prince was a genius at it and he's a role model. People need to relax lol

Damn right sexy!!! I miss the 80s. The music was so damn good ! Prince wrote poetry in the form of pop music. I think God blesses him pretty good. I think in later years he was a bit remorseful of some of his lyrics but we all grow as individuals. When you are young you do think a lot about sexuality and I think he saw sexuality as a gift from God rather than something taboo. The 80s were definitely a time when young people started to show their sexuality. Growing up then was a pretty fantastic unique time. I’ve changed a lot over these years and he did too as an artist. All his music was good, he was a musical genius. I wonder if some of his power to control his image and music sort of dropped him off the radar as one of the greats. Because he certainly deserves to be there. Now that younger generations can find his music on KZread I hope he rightfully takes his throne as a musical genius. I’m glad his music is now out there but also sad because I know it’s only out there because he is gone. It saddens me to know he felt daily pain. As a person with chronic pain I can’t imagine doing what he did yet feeling pain. Not only a genius but such a hard worker and perfectionist. I’m not one to idolize famous people. When MJ died I reminisced his music much like others who died too young but when Prince died... he was part of me growing up. I listened to his music over and over and over. I loved it all! I couldn’t wait for a new album to drop. Ever since his death a few times a week I turn to his music. I’m not sure there will ever be another musician quite like him

A song so nasty that the evangelicals just can’t resist reciting the lyrics in public themselves. Some people wouldn’t have anything to do if someone didn’t give them something to complain about.

+Joey COCO uhh ... what she said was true, people like Prince and Madonna were not yet universally respected during those days because they were doing things that ruffled the nerves of the conservative masses (Madonna had provocative sexual mixed with religious imageries in her videos and concerts, Prince posed entirely nude on his album cover) ... many years later today, the news and tv media are a lot more liberal thats why they are more recognised as respected icons ..
