She even said that she and Prince would always stare at one another,while they were dating. Prince was mesmerize by her Beauty. Prince journeyed on 2 months later after Denise passing. When Arsenio mentioned having a son, Prince warmly congratulated him, but also had the look of a father who had lost his son. I think Arsenio realized this after the fact

I live in Hawaii. One Saturday night some friends and I were out at a club just hanging out. And all of a sudden the dj stopped the music and all of a sudden we seen this guy hopped up on the bar and started jamming his guitar. At first everyone was like wth! But when everyone seen who it was the place went nuts! Was just cool to see someone at this caliber hanging out in the club and most of all getting up and performing and giving us a free show. Something I’ll never forget! This musical genius is truly missed!

The fact he didn't want to be part of all the nonsense and wrongness smartphones and social media gave to humanity erasing the humanity and values on many levels, is truly respectful and admirable. I wish more people were in this like him, using their own mind, being strong characters, not just sheeps following the crowd, then I truly believe the way society pushes us it would actually have no or very low power over us. Prince was too intelligent to be part of the crowd and mass. For that he has all my respect.

One of the reasons he didn't have his own cell phone was because when he did have one, years ago, someone hacked into it and then had access to lots of personal information of his and his contacts. So he had about 6 different email addresses he used to communicate, no cell phone - but would call others from land lines, or use other people's cell phones, and was last using a burner phone that his friend/body guard Kurt Johnson had provided to him.

One of the many things I always admired about Prince is that he always stayed "sweet" and "soft-spoken", and always thought about what he wanted to say. He always stayed true to himself and his music. I will miss Prince more than words can ever say!!

He was a true artist and musician. Few of them, must are performers which isn't a negative. He was the whole package, plus true to his fans and himself.

Prince just exuded class, wit and intelligence from every pore. A true musical genius yet so humble and eager to learn from other great musicians. We were privileged to have had him on this Earth for 57 years, he has touched the lives of so many people and his legacy will live on forever. RIP Prince x

If there is a God out there, Prince was one of his messengers: just like the greatest composers of the past, Bach and Handel, you can hear the touch of the divine in his music. RIP Your Royal Badness. I still can't believe you're gone. You were the embodiment of cool, and you'll always be my hero. Thank you so much for teaching a white kid from Europe all about the funk. My father loves your music and he has just about EVERY SINGLE ALBUM you released and I’m so thankful that he was such a fan of yours and that I was raised on your music and I got to learn about you! I always got the impression that Prince was slightly uncomfortable with his fame. The way he reacts to the thundereous applause he received when he walked out and as he sat down with Arsenio....much loved, tragically missed.

He truly made the 80's rock! What a genius!

Prince is a tough interview and Arsenio did the best he could to have him open up just a little. I think Prince was a musical genius. I really enjoy his music and still listen to it. RIP Prince!

Observations: 1. Prince was too cool for school. What a talent, lost. 2. Arsenio's show was super good. I wish he were still on the air. He would be so much better than that current crap we're stuck with now.

Me too. I need to still hear his voice. So much intelligence that he had that wasn't from books or street. It was from above. He knew things none of us would ever know. You remember the song Way Back Home? Listen to what he sings about. It is sobering.

@@dangell8984 listening to his songs and the instruments he play has a spiritual feeling is what I noticed when I started listening to him in 2009.

Prince was SO humble! I have so much respect for the way he lived his life and the kind of person he ALWAYS was!!! And I love his smile, shyness and modesty. (LOL...) Yes Modesty.

One of the greatest. Its sad when Arsenio Hall mentioned he had a son it kind of hurt Prince. I think it made him think back to him losing his kid. To bad his son died shortly after birth. Rest in peace Prince and his son.

I miss him ......a true iconic musician

Todays artists if you want to call them that From all different genres, crave attention over real art. You got at least 3 well known female rappers today want to act the same and look the same and rap about the same nonsense content . Can’t tell them apart.

I'm not going to lie, when he said congratulations for Arsenio having a son, I just felt a little sad that Prince never got the chance to raise any children of his own.

I felt that too. But I also think Arsenio purposely made that "Freudian Slip" as a means to subtly jab at Prince for all those times he was on the show but NEVER sat down to an interview. You know Arsenio can be "Petty" like that and hold a grudge. I felt like he also set him up in that "Audience Participation" portion of the show as well. Trying to make him come off as Weird or "Out of the loop". Arsenio is an Asshole by all respects to me. The only thing I respect him for is making this interview "Happen".

+Mz.LiteBrite oh wow. I respect your comment but I don't think he ever held a grudge towards Prince; I doubt Prince would even agree to do this or show love to Arsenio if he felt like Arsenio wasn't being true. Plus, Arsenio has always talked about his son and fatherhood while the reboot show was on so it was normal for him to bring it up. Just seeing interviews from his friends, Prince wouldn't do anything he didn't want to do and it didn't come off as if he was "weird" or anything. I think they were good cordial friends. I really appreciate Arsenio because he didn't have to give Prince literally the entire show or let Liv Warfield perform. Again, I respect your thoughts, these are just mine.

GorgBrownEyes​ You have a point Browneyes, I guess I jumped the gun analyzing why he would mention such a thing knowing that was a sore spot for his "Friend"? I mean I've seen almost every piece of footage available on Prince since his "Passing" and I can't say with any kind of justifiable certainty that Arsenio was ever a Snake towards Prince. But he CAN be an ASSHOLE just like "Purple Haze". It wasn't my intention to fly off all half cocked about it. But it certainly was careless to say the least.

Todd Rundgren has made several one man records writing all the music, playing all the instruments, producing and engineering. He did this already in the early seventies. I'm sure Prince was aware of his work.

Steven Wilson is a great artist that's been around for 20 years in the prog rock community. He's does a lot of one-man band projects as well as move through and lead several different metal bands and collaborative genre bands. He actually has a great cover of Sign O' The Times on youtube, I saw him perform it live and he talked at length beforehand about how influential Prince was in his life and music, despite him being exclusively a metal musician for the first decade of his career.

Here 9 years later and it's amazing to hear Prince voice 💜☪️🦄🧘🏾‍♀️ and to see that he has a masculine walk while wearing heels👀

A musical genius so far ahead of anyone else and so truly missed 💜

I love arsenio . I love his questions he needs another chance on a BETTER network

MGladwell despite the cards being stocked against him, he rose to the top of the heap, and that takes discipline and focus and intelligence; all of which he had in abundance. No one can take that away from him. The Illuminati gave you an agenda to follow, which you had to follow, if you wanted to be successful by the world's standards; but thankfully you rebelled and in the end put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only one who can bestow lasting happiness and success in this life and in the life hereafter. RIP dear Prince.

I was referring to Prince not Arsenio. When Arsenio was interviewing Prince, it was so blatantly clear that Prince was the superior intellect.

There will only ever be one Prince. Love or loathe him. His Music will remain timeless. A huge loos to the music & performing arts industry. R.I.P Prince

+Stefan Cosmas I have always loved hi. If you haven't watched the concert for George Harrison where they play "While y Guitar Gently Weeps" Prince is nothing short of amazing as he rips the lead off. Please watch if you haven't. George's son Danny is there, of course Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr among other greats. You won't be sorry you watched because Prince completely steals the show.

In my younger years growing up we all thought Prince was weird, only to realize dude was one of the most talented musicians in the world!

"I come from the old school..." - which he systematically demolished and rebuilt.
