I got to see Charlie Murphy in one of the last performances that he did before he died. He looked terrible, but he was still ridiculously funny. I told my boyfriend at the time that I was concerned that he might be on drugs or something. Turns out the "or something" was him being very sick-He died shortly after. I think that Charlie knew that his time was short and he wanted to do one last tour before he couldn't do it anymore.

Yeah. On their breaks or free time on the show, Charlie told stories of him amongst celebrities and it gave them the idea because they were too hilarious to not tell

@@ataye1 Yea i dunno how many more actually true stories he had lined up..... Im sure he couldve made a 1 or 2 hour special at least..... However, without someone like DC to help play out the dramatization it wouldnt be nearly as funny. I'd say they didnt pursue it because of legal issues.... if rick james and prince werent cool about it, this couldve been a disaster.... especially the rick james one.
