It’s January 17, 2024, and I am listening to this perfectly sang masterpiece. And I don’t think new generation “singers” (as what they call themselves) could understand the artistry of this performance. NO AUTOTUNE needed, raw voice and no lip sync

40 years later and this stands the test of time. She runs over, knocks out this song perfectly with her pure, beautiful voice and perfect diction - it’s much harder to sing than it looks - then runs back to Joan. And she looks fabulous.

I never truly realized in the 80s how beautiful her voice was. Amazing!

She is absolutely breathtaking, she sang this LIve! She sang this song LIVE! She emotes and makes you feel ever lyric! No gimmicks,no backgrounds, Her talent and voice, front and center! begining and established singers take note! A true testimony of raw talent and charisma. This is a performance worth studying.

The hair. The outfit. Perfection, but neither top this song, a forgotten piece of pop history, and the pitch-perfect vocal performance--a great reminder of Sheena Easton's undeniable talent.

❤ Sheena is amazing! Her voice is one of a kind and in the top 5 of all female singers in decades. Move over Celine and Adel

She is one of my favorites of all time. Great voice and absolutely gorgeous I did get to meet her before a show, during the show I was sitting dead center in the front row and when she sang " For your eyes Only" she was looking directly at me. One of the highlights of my life , Some great moments like that you NEVER forget. '

The expression that they used was that she made love to the camera, and she certainly did. The way she used to spin her head around suddenly staring right at you got me every time.

My all time favorites Debbie Harry, Olivia Newton John and Sheena Easton. America's sweet hearts for a long time but I think Sheena Easton was the one with the most outstanding voice.

It should not be that surprising. It is what professional singers are supposed to be able to do. Part of the awfulness of singers today, is due to music consumers. The other problem is record executives.

Not only is her voice incredible, she rocks that short, curly hair like nobody else! Will always love her.

I don't think anyone truly appreciates the devastating Perfection this performance is. This is a truly uniquely talented person.

I found this piece of art just today April 30/2022. And i just can say marvelous. Wao how this woman pitch perfect and make the love to the camera thru her eyes.

I was so lucky to be young in the 80s and witness the best singers that ever lived !! No doubt the best decade ever for music!

Look up several of Sheena's live performances in her prime and she was near perfect. With Autotune, so few singers today can perform their songs so close to their original recordings (Adele, comes to mind). This and Kenny Rodgers and her in "We've Got Tonight" are some of my favorites.

Live recorded Almost Over You sung by Sheena Easton in 1984 was very rare. This song is the best ballad of her ballads, I believe. I'm very pleased. Thank you very much.
