Wow, just stumbled on this in 2024 at 55yr old. Was about 22 when the Bodyguard movie came out. This gentle version is better than Whitney’s imo. Awesome

Why in the heck am I hearing this for the first time in my life? Wow! She is absolutely remarkable. Didn’t know she did this song as well. Always loved Sheena.

Dolly, doesn’t like to sing this song anymore. (Too many past emotions), yet still performs. Linda Ronstandt is no longer able to perform. Sheena still performs, and occasionally sings this song. (Only Dolly, and Sheena, gave this song it’s TRUE, EMOTIONAL PERSPECTIVE). Whitney is dead.

There is a lot of talent but real talent have ethical lines they do not cross and the music industry does not care for ethics anymore. This is a different Hollywood.

Same here. I have been a fan of hers for more than 30 years. I never heard this before. Her cover of it is beautiful. So is her cover of Amazing Grace at the beginning of this clip.

Sheena looks amazing in that movie.

That is such a nice version of the song. Sheena sings it beautifully. Far far better than being shouted out.

OH MY GAWD!!!!! How did I not know this existed? I am a lifelong Sheena Easton fan. I have always loved this song. That the two are combined..... How did I miss this? Her voice is so pure and her interpretation is so spot on. Filled with beauty and just a touch of regret. Emotive and sweet and I am reminded why I have been in love with her for nearly forty years.

Her version is pretty awesome and her voice is comparable to Olivia Newton Johns on some of her softer songs. She sings it in a subtle but beautiful tone that everyone would appreciate. She's a fantastic artist.

This is amazing. This is hard to do well and differently. Sheena’s range is incredible. She can do the most beautiful balllad, she can be smooth and she can do feisty, Scot.. she should be the pride of Scotland. She has been the most successful Scottish singer that we know She took all that, and made it global. An underrated megastar.

My first celebrity crush. I grew up in a small mining village in Nevada. I heard her voice and was amazed...then I saw a picture of her and that was it! Absolutely stunning both in beauty and talent! Also got to see her in concert, America opened for her! It was a great show!!

Wow I was a young teenager when I saw Sheena perform at Aquafest in the mid 80's, I fell in love with her and I am haunted by that SUPER POWERFUL BEAUTIFUL FEMININE VOICE that reaches deep down into a man's soul..She set the bar high for what a beautiful woman and beautiful soul looked like, she was all of that!!! Man so many amazing moments of music in the 1980's, it will never be that way again. Thank you Sheena for the beautiful music and shows! I remember that night how she changed her outfit every song!!!

I grew up on the Linda Ronstadt version from her 1975 album Prisoner in Disguise and still love that but Sheena Easton makes an entirely new song of this. Like her, it is thoroughly beautiful.

heard and watched this first time. Didn't know she has a golden voice.

I always LOVED Sheena's lighter airy side... This was just lovely! even her head voice high notes ... in everything from the high A in Morning Train the her stratospheric D6 in "Sugar Walls".... such a GREAT underestimated singer!!!

I've always love her and thought she has the best voice. I grew up listening to only her songs.
