My brother in law was there. He wore a blue tuxedo with an orange vest and tie. I’m glad I got to see a game there in the second to final season for the stadium.

Lots of memories for a generation of people. Favorite memory September 9th 1969 Seaver pitching against the Cubs. Seaver doubles off the wall and the black cat came out.

I was there. Last row of upper deck between home and first. When Church hit that ball everyone thought it was gone but then it started falling. Such a shame. I have video on my page but it's very low quality but it shows all the fans booing and yelling at Miami players to get off the field and chanting "off the field!" The good ol days. Great video. I can still smell the hot dogs cooking at the old Shea at the concession stands. The new citi field ain't worth crap. Not even a statue of Seaver and what they have for Hodges, my dead dog has a better memorial.

That's bullcrap. Out with the old and in with the new. One day Citi field will also be a memory. You can not be mad at change Bro. That is what memorys are for is to remember the good times. Just think though, the Beatles first American concert was held there. THAT'S a memory. Oh well, have a good day. Did not mean to sound like a butt.

What is the point of destroying shea stadium? If the mets already had a good stadium!!! What waste of money.
