We used to have a dog like that who was a doggy vacuum lol. We called her the house Hoover (like the brand of vacuum) and we could call out “HOOVER” and she’d come running from any part of the house to come vacuum up whatever food that was dropped. It was a cute little trick she kinda taught herself.

People our age (me 110% included) spend so much time living in the next thing we need to achieve. Take a time to look around and see what you have now and that you only dreamt of having in the past. Like for example being with Carlo in the US or being married to him. it's what i'm trying to apply in my life now when I feel so obsessed about the next thing and it has help me so much...

The decision to embark upon a new and wonderous journey is huge. I remember when we made our decision 35 years ago. We now enjoy our grandchildren. I wish you all the joy and happiness.

Bu*****ton: cool restaurants and shopping for 20/30's crowd, low taxes, 15 minutes from Boston, and more. We bought our first house here when we were about 30 and never left. Great youth programs and just a great all around place to raise kids. Just throwing it out there!

My husband and I love going to open homes. And we always picture how we would be in the home were looking at. 😅 Live how your content is so relatable. 💗

A good strategy seems to be to go look for houses you'd buy right away **if the were on the market**. And then drop a message at those houses that should they ever consider to sell they'd contact you first. Sometimes people are already considering selling, or your message make them start considering. And always 'Location ...Location ...Location ...!!' And better a fixer-upper you can make fit to your liking than a completed house which you have to redo. With the latter you pay for someone elses taste.

I’m so glad you guys are making the steps to start a family by getting a house. Please make sure you guys get tested (if you haven’t already I’m new to the channel so if you did mention it ignore me) to make sure that there are no complications that could come up going forward with trying to have a child I really wish I did it would have saved me a lot of heartache. It thankfully happened but it took over five years due to my fertility issues. Wish you guys all the best and hope that everything falls into place ❤

There is something charming about you two, Sarah and Carlo. I am enjoying the unspoiled innocence of your interaction. Some of the couples on KZread purposely dream up "Pranks" just to create something to validate the video. I guess it is a fad for a specific age group.... but pranks always involve saying negative things to one or the other before the "I'm just kidding" is admitted." I don't find them funny; I think they confuse and hurt their partners unnecessarily. You don't need to resort to that nonsense. Your activities together and day to day, getting to know each other's new experiences are very enjoyable and can stand on their own. You are actually showing the world what really being in love with another, looks like and frankly, it is beautiful.

I think it’s very important to have a date day or night my husband and I try but sometimes not possible and I don’t like it because we don’t get much alone time so when we got married we decided to always make it at least 4 days alone on our wedding anniversary. Especially when you have children won’t be as easy to do them you do have family yes that can babysit after a bit

This is so relatable. My husband is in the military and we want to buy a house in another state so bad but we can’t until he gets orders which ofcourse just come randomly in an email. We think we are Moving this summer but the army won’t tell us when exactly and won’t tell us then they are giving us orders so all we know is that we are moving at some point the year. It’s also frustrating because they could give us orders literally a month before we are supposed to move plus I’m 8 months pregnant and taking my capstone for college. So things are just crazy right now 🙃🙃

Here in Canada, it is very very hard to buy a house with one salary, still living in a small tiny apartment until hopefully, the price goes down including the interest rate. The market is crazy. Reasonable priced homes are scooped up immediately. You might have to look a little further out to find something. Whatever you do, don’t settle for just anything. Go with your gut on something you love.

Hi to the both of you, if you do end up having kids, please teach them the Italian culture. Our culture is incredible, funny and rich. I feel incredibly proud of being Italian, even though I was born in Australia and only went to English schools, my bother, sister's and I all speak Italian, we didn't grow up speaking an Italian dialect. I would never give up my Italian identity for anything. I feel incredibly lucky for my country of birth, Australia, to allow me to hold my Italian and Australian passports.

You guys are the sweetest couple- you remind me of my husband and I.. (he’s the Italian one as well). I will say, we had our first one last year- it’s really really hard. I’ll be the honest mom here and while I love my daughter more than anything, being a mother is so exhausting. It’s rewarding but it’s also extremely hard. I’m not sure what your situation is but if you live close to family or friends you should be better off. Unfortunately we don’t live near family or have many friends where we are and my husband works full time.. so that’s the one thing I’ll tell you to think about before you have babies. If you guys both get to stay home it won’t be so bad.. but it definitely it harder on the mother- it does get easier but I would enjoy marriage for a bit it being the two of you.. it’s so special. You will have the most adorable babies when the time is right but do it for you- don’t let anyone pressure you to do it.
