The footage in and around Jakarta was pretty cool, especially when Ben and Cat entered that maze through little shops and people's living quarters. It would certainly be interesting living there. My 93 year old former boss and her family were from a little town in Northern Maine and moved to Jakarta sometime in the 1970's. When I worked for her she had all sorts of stories from when her Diplomat husband brought them all there to live for a few years.

You both make the perfect travel couple. Both of you stay safe, looking forward to the next adventure mate ❤️👊🏼

I lived in Jakarta for seven years until the pandemic forced me to return to my home country. I absolutely loved living there and absolutely hated leaving it.

This is so relatable brother! I travelled SEA for about six years and I know that pain. Once stayed in a hotel room where the room next door was literally been knocked down. I stayed across the road from a restaurant that was so loud that it was shaking the windows. And I lived next door to a hotel where for an entire week the owners thought it was acceptable to have their Buddhist funeral from 7:00 p.m. till 5:00 a.m. respect there traditions but I doubt the ancestors had martial amplifiers! 😂

Lol the polution there and the mentioned other places makes having to pay for plastic bags in Tescos seem ridiculous 😅 I think supermarkets just saw an extra profit, the heiress of Tesco still owes the British taxpayer thousands after selling of land in London in a scam that went wrong, she refused to pay the fine given to her by the courts, transfered her assets into familys names and fled the country, and yet we still do our shopping in the shop that will make her extremely rich .

Once again, you and Catarina made my grey and dreary sunday morning a whole lot brighter. Thanks for that and keep up the good work! I've recently visited your home town and I get it now. very inspiring to go travel.

I was just there in the beginning of October for a week, I absolutely love the vibe of the city. Its chaotic at times but its very intriguing, the people are unbelievably friendly, and the nice places in jakarta are unbelievable. The traffic is next level though

I have cycled around many Asian cities, including Jakarta. But I will put Manila and Delhi in front of Jakarta, when it comes to Chaos. And I absolutely love the Indonesian people. I find them to be the most easygoing people in all Asia.

We had Indonesian Muslim guys live with us in NZ for many years, I love them too & have Vietnamese kids, the Indo guys were so protective over our girls.
