I’m glad Ste got help for Lucas and Dillon. Dillon really saved Lucas twice, once from leaving with Carter, and once from bleeding out. Now I hope that Lucas can get therapy to get those dark thoughts out of his head, because he was emotional tortured for months. Carter has warped the way he thinks, and that will take time to get over. So everyone needs to be patient with him.

The fact that Mr. shepherd said I appreciate you at the end was such a funny move like the fact that he wouldn't even acknowledge the fact that all here. I'm going to jail like he started did the right thing at the end and I feel kind of bad for her because she's been pushed into that corner for the longest time. Yes, Mr. shepherd saved her, but like at the end of the day you do the right thing you never make a mistake. You never put a foot outline. Do the right thing and you will make yourself proud. But I feel so sorry for Lucas and Dan.

Sure, part of me is sad that Carter couldn't get his head on gay and live happily ever after with John Paul. But really, this is the only way things could turn out for him. Someone so full of self-hatred and so willing to use others for his own ends is not going to wind up in a happy place. Serves him right. Though the damage he's done to his daughter and the LGBT+ kids of Hollyoaks, and their families, has probably sewn story seeds that will ripen for years to come.

The man that’s been ruining Pride Day & hiding from the cops is someone she doesn’t recognize as her dad. Still, despite all that, she still says she loves him and all HE SAYS in response is, “I’ll pray for you”. Meaning he now thinks his daughter will go to hell. I hope Freya will have good support with her and that Carter has a chance to reflect over all this.

Ironic that it's during a Pride celebration, isn't it? The religious keep forgetting that the worst sin to ever make is pride, but not because of gay pride, but because being so vain as to assume yourself into God's position as a judge of someone else's place in heaven or hell, that's is vanity and selfishness to the extreme. I'm not religious, but I was raised catholic, and pride was always considered the most dangerous sin.

You've misunderstood what they were saying then, they're saying if hollyoaks makes Dillon and Lucas get together after this (after the abuse Dillon has suffered from Lucas), psychological problems or not this is romanticization and completely not okay, it would not be normal after this for Dillon to date Lucas. I'd maybe considered it if it was a long-term storyline of Lucas seeking psychological help, Dillon keeping distance during it, then finding their way back to each-other, but knowing Hollyoaks this won't happen.

Dillion must recover and move on with his life, Lucas must also be hold accountable for his actions, the damage he done to Dillion was unnecessary, he continued punching him even though he was laying there unresponsive

All of this would have been avoided if Gareth hadn't blackmailed Carter in January, and Carter and John Paul would be together by now.

Oh my OA that scene with Dillon and Freya was so amazingly beautiful and even though they’re not together anymore doesn’t mean that she can check up on a Friend it’s sad that she didn’t believe John Paul but she believed Dillon. I’m glad she reported him to the police but at the same time I still feel sympathy for Carter and I even loved that Ste found Lucas just in time in the Folly I really am glad he’s okay now I’m hoping Carter will get help while he’s locked up maybe seek therapy or something (maybe even have his playmate be BB) and hopefully in a few Months he’ll be released and redeemed. Plus since Carter’s been arrested I do hope if he’s released and redeemed I hope he’ll stand up to Declan and try to take him down maybe even help Ivy with it since he’s her Father. But since Carter is the only Family member Freya has left in the village then the question is who will take care of her now? Sure it might be Scott but he’s leaving the village in a few Months so maybe John Paul can adopt her and be her Stepfather or something. 😊

I know he's been in conversion therapy...but...if you hit someone once, you WILL do it again. Cycle of abuse/abusive relationships. It's not healthy for either of them if they continue with this. They both need to move on, separately.

Carter in a way felt like he failed again to Declan and to his Lord for not making it done as planned. If you see his face when he was handcuffed, he was sad and tried to get away from John Paul because he knows that he cannot hide his true self with him. He mentioned it before that he wants to change for the better but everytime Gareth calls him or messes up with his head, he goes back to feeling guilty and for sinning because he’s gay.
