we would like to request the need for the long form unedited , uninterrupted, no music, full video from this session. Shi Heng Yi can talk for 10 hours and it would feel like 5 min for the most of us. That’s how much of a trance he puts us in. :) Thank you for the beautiful content regardless.

In my own journey through life, I've found that when I make a mistake, in addition to not dwelling on it, not blaming another, and forgiving myself or another, that accountability must be central to mistake-making. If I can't/don't own my part in a mistake, I cannot learn.

In a world where our actions impact others around us, we have the right to be wrong, but we do not have the right to stay wrong; that right is reserved only for the imaginary world.

Mistakes, and Fautly acts both teach one thing. Change is an opportunity presented through learning, not shame or discomfort. Sometimes overcoming self, simply requires a wish to change ourselves. Discomfort, and fault are simple indicators of such an opportunity, history and repetition should offer finer learning, not further reason of self defeat.... I am blessed to have learned the same lesson multiple times......soon, I might even be blessed to share what I've learned. I might even be blessed to see that I am not alone in repeating such lessons. I am not alone.....nor will I allow others to be. Revenge isn't company.....it is solitude.

Everyone makes mistakes. I accept that about myself and others. It is the altruistic path. Ningana dzogchen karma seed. I have the indicators including the crown. In many ways I have to struggle to survive here. To lose one is to lose them all was my mantra. It was unrealistic. Allowing Anger and hate to be the prevalent emotions is impossible. I know it's like drinking poison and expecting the other to die. I have become a martyr and cannot find my key. You help a lot. Thankyou.

Sometimes the flow of the whole was a bad way to live from the start. When you forgive yourself You forgive others. When talking about others you are talking to yourself as well, to end suffering is to forgive yourself. You must learn to understand and make better choices. Learning to love yourself is when you truly love others because the world will automatically get better if you are better. All true, like he said everyone can always kill each other just like when the problem started in the first place.

One video i would like to see if possible. I agree with the view hate/vengeance does not resolve another hateful action as it does not deal with the cause, you hold on and suffer as a result of it also, and it is a vicious cycle all in all of continued hateful actions and suffering. However, the whole warrior aspect of being a monk is to protect important things historically, as well as cultivating a warrior like mentality. So where does the notion of justice fit into this, as justice may not always be considered a loving action however sometimes necessary to prevent a further cycle of hateful actions from certain individuals - would be interested to hear the masters perspective on this. And where is the line between seeking justice or a loving action, and what would actually be the most beneficial for society as a whole.

Self defense is allowable, including being trapped in a difficult situation. Self defense is allowable to regain ones freedom. That is a rule for monks in the Patimokkha. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Try not to permanently injure if a punishment is necessary. There is no justice from men, only injustice, sorry. It's up to victims to defend their life, liberty, and property, not others.

Revenge is a noble action and is for tough people not for cowards. Even if you forgive by stupidity nature will not forgive and will do the action in your place if you're right so powerfull it is. After the nature will do its job then is no need to forgive because that evil was canceled and the balance is restored. And this cycle repeats over and over in different situations and with different people. So far this is what history demonstrates us. Forgiveness will not do any harm to a vicious man/woman. He/she will continue to inflict pain to others until is stopped.

I don't agree in total. I say every intent generates kamma, but also, every circle has sub circles, and it the big circle that is most important. Eg: I don't like your haircut, so I punch you. If your intent is to cause me harm, and you react violently, then you are just as bad as me. But if your intent is to punish me so that I don't do that again, then hitting me back is ok. Killing me would not be ok. We should never have intentions to permanently injure another. Anyway, the point is: it is your primary intention that creates the most kamma, even if it is followed by sub intentions that are bad kamma.

Mostly people who say they don’t believe in revenge are people who simply don’t have the wherewithal to pull it off. I think before you get to “forgive and forget” you owe it to your own sense of self respect to execute revenge at least a couple of times in your life in a way that you scare yourself with how dangerous you can be…otherwise you’re just kidding yourself saying “I’m above revenge”. No !you’re just weak. If someone does something to your loved ones you should be strong enough to know you will be drinking your morning coffee out of their fucking skull…

Nature and history shows us that revenge cause ballance. If no revenge was in the history the monstrosity would be today out of proportion. Or maybe this is called karma. Nature never let anyone got unpunished for his evil actions. Wheather is deliberate direct action or indirect karma nothing is left unpaid. Actually the fear of revenge keeps the things in ballance. If we would forgive every evil, evil will get out of proportion quickly and overwhelm us. The only problem is the pain and hate that is inside which is detrimental to your actions. I think letting go means to give to nature the mandate of revenge. Because the revenge will happen 100%. It will be done by nature itself or by other person.
