He totally would have accepted a one on one or maybe even two on one Challenge from Kid and Killer if Kid hadn't threatened to hurt everyone else around them

Shanks haki is on another level. He is miles away on his boat and not only stops an admiral but turns his logia powers off. No wonder the war stopped when he entered. No one there could beat him.

Mihawk beats him in an all-out fight but lost intetest as he stated (which conveniently left no one who can take on Shanks). The fact that y'all refuse to accept what Mihawk said about him no longer being a challenge during their first meeting is wild. Headcannon culture needs to stop, especially when it has such a terrible track record and relies on out-of-context scaling from people who genuinely think they're "making sense."

I think it would of been more epic if the whole sky just flashed Red or white flashes just like in the film red movie only thing is, Greenbull is the only one who gets affected by it an can’t move etc. But the whole Haki direct signal thing directly to green bull was kinda lame. Or rather didn’t look cool. Because Conquerors Haki always affects the entire area. An yeah I know when he activated it, affected some new members of his crew but still. It would of been hundred times more badass if the entire sky flashed red instead of signal thing but still glad he made an appearance.

The admiral went from 'that guy", to "you're not that guy" real quick Never expected to see an admiral get treated like fodder by haki alone

yep, it is true that Shanks is rumored to have only used 1% of his Conqueror's and Observation Haki when he scared Green Bull away at Wano. Considering how powerful Shanks is already, it is staggering to think that he may only be using a fraction of his full potential. Zoro did something similar to Monet in Punk Hazard (the immobile aspect). I've always found it interesting how Oda uses Zoro to passively hint towards future Haki abilities and then has Luffy or someone else later perform the actual ability. He's done it with armament, observation, and conqueror's now.

I think the anime version of this scene really helped to illustrate how powerful shanks is in comparison to the rest of the verse, and that Green bull wasn't just a coward. He had to go cause otherwise he would just die.

Stopping an admiral in his tracks with just haki? Ya this is the most impressive feat displayed by any character in one piece to date.

You know the way they had shown Uta in here even it was just her shadow, it not only does it mean that she is canon to the main anime, but there could be a chance we can see her somewhere down the line in the main anime too, not just in an flashback episode.

@@kerart0- Not true, it is more how a character is introduce that may define their value plot wise, consider for a moment that Luffy hung out with Uta either before or during when Luffy was hanging out with Sabo and Ace.

He just slightly unsheathed his sword and he was able to throw a singular beam of Haki like a sniper shot and perfectly held and admiral in place refusing to let him move. And it didn’t take any ounce of difficulty to keep him from moving either. Makes you wonder what an actually serious Haki attack from Shanks looks like

@@easyygo3008 I wouldn’t even say that attack was somewhat close to shanks being serious. It took Kidd and Law to defeat Big Mom who Shanks would likely solo with not that much difficulty. The only way there would be any actual effort put behind that attack would be if shanks would purposely trying to demonstrate a power gap which he wouldn’t have to put that much effort into showing because he is so much drastically stronger than Kidd. Kidd at his strongest so far is probably a fraction or small percentage of what Shanks could do

the animation of shanks haki is impressive, i mean it's incredible that conquer haki can reach the coast and attack the admiral. shanks is so powerful

U barely see shanks show up, when he does it’s always a legendary 10/10 moment.

Another great example of Show Don't Tell. You can say how strong shanks is all you want. Or you can show an admiral shivering with fear just because Shanks is within a few miles of him.

I love the idea of shanks' strength being his immense haki. It fits like a glove into the power progression that we've followed until now where haki only gets stronger with real world experience and Luffy gradually improving by learning from his opponents (like predicting the future). I am giga hyped for their fight

Kaido could imbue his weapon with the color of supreme king, but Shanks is just so powerful that can sundue an admiral from a large distance just by slightly unsheathing his sword, this is just insane

Imagine watching the fight and as the Admiral starts to transform he randomly freezes up and acts like he's paralyzed and responds to someone who's not even there. Then after all this trouble he's caused he leaves without doing anything more.

I remember when G5 Luffy flexed his conqueror's haki down at Kaido before pulling him up like a toy snake 🤣

Idk. Luffy looked cooler just by smirking and sitting looking on. If you pay attention luffy has become different in terms of cockiness preparedness and even confidence after every island. His intuitions gone through the roof as a captain to this point and I love to see that development. Especially with his 3 commanders being jinbe sanji and zoro all lookin on calmly knowing they’d body green bull.

One day I really want to see how Shanks becomes so strong, like how hard the training need to be for such a haki

And to top that off Imagine for a second the kind of horror of destruction shanks would unleash if luffy ate it there and then. Gold roger rampaged and ruled the seas for decades But shanks even one armed could tear armys apart. And conquerors hakis no joke. Put that into thought.

Greenbull got a whiff of that conqueror's haki and turned into that disappearing homie meme real quick

If Shanks can make an admiral back down like this I think its safe to end the admiral vs yonko debate. It took 3 admirals to fight whitebeard and an admiral backs off while Shanks is on the other side of the island.

I love how this isn't even an effort to defeat them. this is just a warning to essentially say, "give them a breather for a bit or else" And he still makes an admiral freeze.

Shanks cut off his wifi from miles away! The admiral didnt pay the bill!

I'd like to thank Oda for blessing us with a few more seconds of Shanks. So far, I believe he's been on screen for roughly 40 minutes out of the 1000+ OP episodes, including the One piece Red movie.

Recall how Shanks also had Akainu shaking in his magma-filled boots, the same Akainu who was down to square up with Whitebeard and then the combined Yonko Commanders. Ryokugyu may have gotten squashed, but at least he can't really be blamed for it.

If i remember correctly it didint exactly happen like this, Greenbull was more like shocked and taken by surprise. He washnt in pain as shown here and he was able to move just fine. He then decided to leave as he was alone there and couldnt take an emperor by himself.

@@starrk5627 it didn't happen like this. Greenbull was more scared rather than in pain as it shows here. He was feeling Shank's presence rather than being remotely controlled by Shanks sword as shown here.

Listen I thought Luffy was close to Shanks in power but after seeing this I think Luffy is not even near him. Shanks just immobilized an admiral with no effort.

Makes a lot more sense how Shanks was able to stop Kaido from joining the Marinford war.
