Individually, they are not comparable to top hitter like BB or Zoro or Luffy or Lucci (current Lucci). However, what makes them a threat is that they are planning on producing these guys as an army, not individual fighter. Now that’s horrifying.

A lot of the OP villains lose because they have become a stagnant force. Kaido didnt really become interesting beyond being the strongest creature, untill he and Big Mom made plans to conquer the world together. Doflamingo wasnt really that interesting, untill he revealed plans for world domination. Basically, all OP villains that are praised, are villains that had plans

I strongly disagree with that my dude all of the villains had different goals and agenda then just being stanant force and also has connection to one of the straw hats or the others which makes the fights even more impactful blackbeard isn't the only villain that is refreshing all of the of them are in a very unique way compare to other shonen animes well except for bleach and dragon ball 😗

After years of being told "you aren't ready for what's about to come", I can confidently say "yes, I am indeed, not ready"

Shanks was practically begging Whitebeard to not underestimate Blackbeard because Blackbeard is really good at making other people think that he is much weaker than he actually is. He even convinced a large chunk of the One Piece fanbase. If people decide to fight an Emperor of the Sea, they will prepare accordingly. But if that Emperor manages to convince them that he's a fraud undeserving of the title, it's a different story.

Reminder that Blackbeard’s Dark-Dark Fruit makes all incoming attacks that hit him hurt more than it would any normal guy. Pre-timeskip he would’ve been crying out in pain and reeling on the floor. Just goes to show that even against a Seraphim Blackbeard wasn’t doing nothing for two years; he’s even more of a tank than ever.

Love how Blackbeard is portrayed here. He's on the move and highly aware of his surroundings with quickly examining the new pacifistas. The Seraphim proved to be extremely powerful but Blackbeard held his own the entire time and maintained control of the situation. Even Whitebeard said he is always unprepared but that's how he rolls.

That's one of Blackbeard's main things. He's an EXPERT at "going with the flow", and turning any situation into his advantage. But he still sucks at actually planning ahead or foreseeing what might happen.

Interesting enough to see Blackbeard dodging and moving swiftly pre time skip he would usually be a sitting duck to most attacks.

Also blackbeard could sense luffys haki had increased when they met in impel down. Apparently even ace had armorment and observation haki even though it was never overtly shown it was confirmed, look it up

Stuff like this is why Teach is my favorite villain. He's not some invincible untouchable force until its time for the big showdown. We see him growing alongside luffy from a different perspective. Seeing him tank a huge attack like that is different from him wiggling around in pain after a punch from a weakened luffy back in impel down

Facts I love that we’re finally back this is the one piece I started watching for.

I appreciate Blackbeard for just knowing as much as the audience. There's none of the obnoxious trope in which the audience gets the cues, but the character doesn't. He's just right there with us, confused and overwhelmed. What a weird and interesting villain.

Seems like the new Pacifistas can use their originals' skills to an extent. The old ones modelled off Kuma just shot lasers and weren't anywhere remotely close in terms of ability to the original they were modeled from.

Considering that these new Seraphim-Pacifistas have biological qualities to them, it is likely that they are capable of getting stronger and learning from their previous fights as they age. So, if S-Hawk was to fight Blackbeard again, it would be better equipped and adapted to deal with him - much like Mahoraga from JJK🤔🤔

Blackbeard calling him big is right on point. If he is that size as a child and still developing, imagine how enormous and deadly they would be as adults. These pacifista are a potential threat for everyone not controlling them.

I don't know. They are immune to damage and have the power of the warlords. Even the straw hats had trouble. Of S-Snake was not a copy of boa then they would have been in bigger trouble.

I mean Oda needs to keep one more level between Zoro and Mihawk, Mihawk is still too dangerous for Zoro to face head on and there is no way in hell Shanks and Zoro are getting in a swordfight togethed

For the record, Blackbeard being able to tank a slash like that makes him Top 10, easily.

Not frightened, concerned. He very knows a lot about history, that's how he was able to identify a Lunarian, and it's a baby form of a warlord. That is a lot to take in, and having the realization that the WG has the ability to do that in intense.

Can we talk about how fast and tanky blackbeard now? He dodge attack of clone of literally strongest swordsman in the world (Its kid but still good), block his sword attack with haki (I think BB have very good armanent haki), and then stand-up attach which cut half of island like nothing happend (similliar with Marineford, but weakest ofc :p). And this man still have two strongest fruit of paramecia and logia type. I think we should don't underastimate not only BB iq, but also his physique power and power we didn't see yet.

What makes these Seraphim so dangerous isn’t their strength (they are indeed strong, like very strong, but not on the level of top hitter), but there are an army of them coming out in the future.

How you know their names is Seraphim? I dont remember them mentioning it in this episode

I've been rewatching One Piece and remembered how much trouble the straw hats kept having against being massively outnumbered by fodder characters. Ever since Luffy awakened conquerors haki they haven't had to worry about that kind of threat for a long time. So i think if the Seraphim get mass produced that would bring back the threat of the straw hats getting massively outnumbered that early One Piece had, and it would give Luffy another stepping stone towards getting stronger. They'll start off as a threat but once Luffy reaches higher levels of Ryou/Haki they'll become fodder characters. I can already imagine the World Government rolling out their new "Seraphim Fleet" and the Straw Hats are finally strong enough to one shot the Seraphim "but there's just too many of them!"
