I see your point but the truth is, it's better for them to separate if they do not get along with each other. Howard sang lead on most of those tracks, so they didn't make a bad decision to keep on going without Jody.

Jodie left Shalamar in 1983 and went on to have a successful solo career. Never say never but she seems to be just fine not being in the group.

Howard Hewett is probably more Shalamar than Jody and Jeffrey combined.

@@modernretroradio993He's a thief. He went behind the group and got a $1 million royalty advance from the Record label CEO supposedly to share it with the group. He gave absolutely nothing to Jody! A million dollars in early 1980's was worth about 3 million! Howard and Jeffrey physically assaulted Jody on more than one occasion! He also told Jody that she was just a dancer and easily replaceable and wasn't $@i+.

I had a small conversation with Jeffery Daniels during lock down last year on this KZread channel 🤗 he blessed me for riding with him all these years...Cool guy.

@@highgloss5171 You will enjoy it. Always nice to have a gig to look forward to. I actually went on my own, as husband not into them.. but didnt feel alone, everyone was friendly and we danced the night away together. I quite like Howards solo tunes as well.

It been truly great if Jodie was there I have heard bit and pieces of what happened between the group but I you have to learn to forgive I know it's hard but this life only so many chances so who needs to make the move forgiveness do if not the group for yourself.

Carolyn Griffey is a beautiful woman, and she can sing, but I'm sorry, Mama, you just can't replace Jody Watley, Jody Watley voice with them is like no other. She is the only person who can sing with them to make Shalamar what it is. I would have more respect for this group if they said Shalamar with Carolyn Griffey because at the end of the day, this ain't Shalamar, and she ain't Shalamar either stop lying. 😂

@@chuckforeman2580 age has nothing to do with it. Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight and El Debarge still sound amazing. Howard is out of shape and his voice is proof.
