Final Chase too

Modern day commentator here, this stage seriously reminds of Final Rush and Chase with Crazy Gadget-

At the beginning of this video, Sonic says he and Shadow raced each other in that zone. They raced each other there at the end of the "Hero" and "Dark" stories of the game Sonic Adventure 2.

@@NoNamex1412 Sonic, because he stopped the cannon, Shadow’s whole goal was to stop whoever was there from getting to the cannon (and the person there was Sonic) so if Shadow won, Sonic would be dead as Shadow says “You know I can’t let you live, your adventuring days are coming to an end.”

Wow, I had a hard time with this mission, finished it literally with 1 second left. Great job.

A comet passing by overhead? Hilarious, according to Sonic. At least if that little "Heh heh heh!" meant anything.

3:47-4:08 I feel that cutscene should only play if you came from Lost Impact. It doesn't make a lot of sense here.

My only guess is that he didn't immediately make the connection, and assumed it was a coincidence that the Black Comet would pass by during a Black Arms invasion. I assume that's why he laughed. And yes I did reply to a 6 year old comment. Don't judge me.

Space Gadget and Lost Impact should've been swapped. It'd be better narratively. In the Cosmic Fall cutscene, Shadow questions if what he saw in Lost Impact was real. In the Final Haunt cutscene, Sonic and Shadow are racing a race that they started at Space Gadget. This would make the Pure Hero route make way more sense. This leads me to believe that the Semi-Dark and Semi-Hero routes were added as a last minute thought, especially the Semi-Dark route.

If they're swapped, then lost impact should have a dark mission (and also let's remove space gadget's neutral mission cuz it's just the exact same)

Love this child hood game

It just might be me but I always found this level to be the most disorienting from a directional standpoint

3:26 almost! "Cassandra, now, I remembered now i see.. that day, we fought you and Complicated affirmatives. Before we met them, Sophitia Alexander Guide him!" That's references of Sonic games storylines. Most of my favorite parts! Soul calibur series main characters.

Now I see the explanation behind the 2 same quotes. Here's what I don't get: Shadow has a different memory trigger when he "loses" to Sonic in the "race"? (even though both results him getting the emerald) Shadow made a correction: You fought Sonic. Good job (Sonic, ya idiot >.>) 4:36-4:40 Uh.... Gee, I don't know, was it because both the alien and comet have the name BLACK in it?! Or are we going to get an non-explanation?

Space Colony Ark Act 1 from Shadow Generations has a pretty similar structure to this level

At 3:09, try jumping off the rail and falling / landing right towards the path leading up to the goal Ring.

4:53 Using one of Sonic’s rings, the two hedgehogs make it to the Black Comet to fight against Black Doom.
