"Find the computer room" - Vector (2005)

I'll admit this: this level scares the heck out of me but I like that music. It's epic and matches the level perfectly; an epic fall from space. I also like how Vector tells Shadow not do what he's about to do. That there's more to the story than what he's been told.

This is actually my personnel favorite level when I need my Adrenaline up, really suspenseful, I like it.

I like the fact that some of the debris are pieces from the final rush level in sonic adventure 2. I recognised a rail at 5:34 that let you higher up on the platforms

This is like the only ending that probably would work it's way into the last story. The second one would probably be where he defeats Black Doom.

@Greyce Ribas Swap Mad Matrix for The Doom. As for O.P, the Dark mission makes more sense since Shadow still trusts Black Doom at the beginning of the Last Story.

Final Haunt dark also works, it's a semi-friendly battle between Sonic and Shadow where the Black Arms aren't entirely defeated, and Black Doom has some trust in Shadow.

that was a very...anticlimactic boss. "hmmm your power seems to have increased a bi--"BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG" *dead*

I like this ending for some reason. Which is weird because I don't usually like depressing endings that much.

Sadest Ending... Good Thing its not the really ending.. But the really ending was kinda sad to... But shadow always has good in him.

"We gotta get outta here first!" Was he talking to us or... Maria...?

Shadow: Having a serious moment Vector: HEY LOOK AT WHAT I CAN DO!

why does vector sound more annyoing the charmy bee

I like how the first 50 seconds are just nothing, as well as the fact that through all of this chaos, Shadow is still just casually whispering.

It's like even he can't believe it, for as much as he can remember, the ARK has always just been this larger than life structure in space, so seeing it crumbling like that must have him in a shock that he can't wrap his head around

This is the saddest ending. Shadow blames himself for such destruction, deaths of innocent researchers from the Ark and makes him depressed and isolated from the rest. Poor Shadow... I feel you there buddy... 😔

It wasn’t really him isolating himself from the rest, low-key this ending is him suiciding off screen after he walks away they implied that shadow suicides afterwards, but never showed it because this is a kids game kind of and edgy too, but not enough to show self murder

Commander Towers is honestly a hypocrite, since he blames Shadow for the death of his family and Maria, when Maria was the very thing that Shadow valued most, and Commander Towers works for the very thing that actually killed Maria, and the family of Commander Towers.

Why are both of the endings for this level incredibly emo?

This level was impossible for me as a kid, i just couldnt even get close to FINDING THE COMPUTER ROOM

@thebored14 Ah if it's that reason, then that's just an excuse really (especially since the main character's name is in the freaking box of the game!). They can't expect a 100% gameplay as Sonic. That's a good point if they expect Sonic

Question! Has anyone actually let that timer hit zero while playing? I always thought that people would just run out of lives before that ever happened.

@thebored14 You're right, it's not a Sonic game, but it's the world of Sonic. While putting new ideas for Shadow is alright, you've got to remember though not to go overboard with it. I think this was the main point that a lot of people has seen it from determining a good or a bad game. Honestly, I think it's okay

How to quick start this level: Wait until your about to leave the opening zip line (0:20) and jump before it lets you off. You can do a homing attack on the 3 black creatures early.

i loved the ending of this story.....sooooo much :D

@MarioMastar I agree with Sonic 06 as well. The way I see it is that the game had good intentions of a good old Sonic adventure game, but the flaws there just were too much that it made the intentions disappear. Nevertheless, if the problems were fixed, I believe that also would of been a good game. Practically, the game fell apart from those flaws.

@MrFlamingoPie The reason for that being is this: The base idea for this was great. Having you select from hero/neutral/dark path, which also determines the "final" ending of Shadow, had a great step ahead. The thing that suffers the most though is that there are completely unnecessary tasks this game has you to do, very little character development (which doesn't make sense seeing this should of been the main focus), and let's not forget the path isn't determined what Shadow feels or sees...

@NolChannel Eh I wouldn't necessarily give it that low. They did have good intentions. Plus, Shadow is fast here like he was in SA2B. The missions does get interesting. It's the execution that was bad. Believe me, if they did that right, this game could of been so much better. I'd say around 5-6/10 at best. An average game, it's pretty interesting. But to be a good game, it needed to look around these areas a little more

The sad thing about this ending is that he is going to take responsability for everything that happened in the ark and get excecuted by the Commander.

@MrFlamingoPie Continuing from where I left off, let me explain the whole path thing: It isn't determined on the development, rather I see it as points gained when completed. One of the paths he did in this walkthrough had you do a certain task and everything was fine until Shadow suddenly determines who he is out of nowhere. This is why I think it's more point system. They could of executed a whole lot of things before the final release of the game

Have you tried going up? What the heck was he doing just now? :S This is the weirdest path. Black Doom told him to find the Chaos Emerald (which he did), but told him what's this defiance. I don't know. I love how 3 platforms transform into one big one when he showed up Remind me who told Shadow he was the evil one Saddest ending. Not only that he realizes he shouldn't be here, but the ARK is also falling apart. Talk about a bad day
