    3:25 sweep ender gives a safe jump in the corner iirc

    Yes, sweep ender into jumping Heavy Kick is a safejump. Midscreen, doing the sweep ender and dashing twice leaves you +4 and in their face.

    9:22 this is actually just because the time freeze timer on the canceled versions of level 2 and 3 is longer than the normal timer, both cancelled supers are 2f startup so they work after H and EX flame final hits edit: 17:37 you may have found it already, but 6HP 2HP dr 6HP... is less scaling than roundhouse in combos

    Sweep ender gives a safe jump anywhere. His heavy hashogeki first hit is a great counterhit tool, because it allows him to get crocuhinf heavy punch, which is stronger than his other heavies and sets up his light tatsu combos. Ex Hasho forces the wall splat, or you can cancel out of the first or second hits into suprr 2, and set up wall splat combos. (I see you found the use of combo starter) Edit: you can't use 2x hashogeki wall splats as you saw. And if you piano on the fireball after back heavy kick, I find that it's much more reliable in getting your Hadoken out.

    Yeah light flame leaves you close enough to throw someone, I've used it to get someone in the corner a few times

    Important note: when doing grounded DRC combos, ALWAYS do fHP instead of stHK midcombo It does the same damage and doesn’t add scaling as well as having the same important links.

    4:30 personally what I do to avoid this is setting my macros to LP+MP (thank the Capgods SF6 allows that) so I can use meterless lariat and most EX moves the way I always did and when I need to do the three button moves like EX lariat or teleports I press both shoulders/triggers

    His best drive rush extender is f.HP, cr.HP. However, in the corner, OD moves give you better damage. Especially OD adamant flame into b.HK xx OD demon flip into OD air fireball. Which you can follow up with OD Tatsu. Or you can just do OD Adamant Flame into b.HK xx OD fireball into medium tatsu then dp

    Can someone explain to me why Baf calls the jump heavy kick into sweep a "Bodega" or "Bodega combo" I imagine its an old FGC reference but I cant find anything anywhere on it.

    So I only know of it as the bodega combo but me trying to reverse engineer the origin: a bodega is a corner/convenience store so the absolute most simple "budget" combo you could do would be a corner store combo basically. And I guess the absolute simplest combo is j. Hk cr. hk

    After EX Adamant Flame wallsplat in the corner, it seems like crouching Heavy Punch into Light Fireball into Heavy Tatsu is your best meterless route.

    Additionally, if I remember correctly landing Heavy Adamant Flame midscreen and doing Heavy Demon Flip into the midair break (just hold down during Demon Flip) leaves you point blank +2. I might be wrong though, it's been a while since I've played.

    Towards Fierce has lower scaling and around same dmg over all iirc. Good show

    i think the reason for not using stHK multiple times in advanced 5 is to not add extra scaling, increasing the damage if the whole combo vs just the part you compared
