Thanks very short video with plenty of information. Certainly now going to turn alarm off before I finish setting up.

*These things are awesome **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s very loud when they go off and I could hear it easily from 20 yards away from my pole. Also very sensitive that even a bluegill will trip it. But one of the alarms wasn't working, made a quiet click and a flash of the LED and it was it. Was fine since I'm only allow 2 poles in the state I live in. High quality and already came with batteries.*

Couldn’t u just losen ur drag instead of switching it back everytime u catch. Or does it make it more accurate?

Just go the shop and buy a fish pal. Prob have more luck

Man, seems like a Flintstones setup to me... too tedious.. just get the kind that clips on your rod and you loop your line through.. much simpler. I know if I'm squishing around on a wet bank like you I sure don't want to be squatting over and rigging some tedious contraption just to avoid WATCHING it.
