The SnapRite System is a set of four unique dies that work with a standard rivet gun to install button, socket, stud, and eyelet snap fastener components quickly and easily. The SnapRite Dies work with any standard rivet gun, so buying a whole new tool isn't necessary. Dies screw into the rivet gun's nosepiece and must be used with a SnapRite Mandrel (included).
The color-coded dies work in pairs to install snap components on site for accurate positioning. The SnapRite System requires use of SnapRite Buttons and gypsy studs but installs all other standard snap components in a Ligne 24 size (most common size, 5/8″ button top diameter).

The two most popular ways to install a stud snap into a solid surface are: using a 3/8" screw stud #333105 OR by using the SnapRite Surface Mount Stud Die #103754 with a Blind Rivet #103756 then a Stud #333100. Visit: sailrite.com and enter the part numbers for more information.

Can these dies be used with a standard thread lever-handle rivet press?

They should screw into a standard rivet tool, not sure about a lever-handle rivet press. If a standard rivet tool die fits in your rivet press, then yes it should work.
Will it work on "Better than Teak" marine flooring?

Yes, it will. We have used it with Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl™ Flooring.

Step 1= squeeze the handles of the rivet tool together to withdraw the internal pulling jaws. Step 2= Thread the die onto the rivet tool until it is fully seated; then release the handles. Q1= Are the mandrels just finishing nails?

Answer: Yes, but they are stainless steel mandrels that have been tested to not break prematurely.

6:35 How exactly do you install the stud into a hard surface? I want to install the stud onto the top of a plastic kayak; the snap will be attached to some spray skirt materials....help. thanks.

Go to the hardware store they have button snaps with a screw in the Center of the stud that mounts to hard surface
