  • @Peter-zg3em

    @Peter-zg3em

    2 ай бұрын

    Here is how you balance it… do it with crazy draws (you have great equity but you’re probably behind,) and blockers (air,) once in a blue moon. That way you can actually 3 bet your sets and get paid. But yes, generally you call in modern poker and it’s just a matter of how many bigs you have and getting the money in by the river. Matusow is stuck in 2003 in a lot of ways.

    @@iacosta79 depends on the guy. I don’t about now , but back in the day Mike definitely would have 8-6, 7-9, 4-5 there at some frequency too. Matasow doesn't really seem to have any bluffs in his range when he takes this line and he doesn't really have overpairs either so it seems like Luda can't beat any part of Mike's value range. 6:45 Francisco asks why he went all in… just two days ago I turned top set of kings. I check and opp bets 105. I jam because I only have $30 more (135 total) and he ends up folding. I asked to rabbit hunt the river and it was the case king which would’ve been a $300 high hand 😭😭😭

    Mike the Mouth is a poker legend. 8th grade me watching him talk all the s*** to Raymar then go on the Mike Matusow blowup ( even if I remember correctly he got it in good on both of the hands).. .If you haven't seen it go check out the Phil Helmuth vs Matusow 7-2 hand on High Stakes Poker. Good stuff

    I used to play poker for 3 years straight for almost every day. At that period I have dealt AA three times in a row, made quards 3 times in an hour, made 3 straigh flushs and one royal. I have NEVER hit a set (any set) three times in a row. That seems like one in a billion. Any math people here to help me with the odds?

    Hit a royal flush is harder to make 3 of a kind in a row... You play texas holdem?

    The probability of getting a 3-of-a-kind in a single hand is approximately 2.11%, and the probability of this happening three times in a row is about 0.000943% (or 9.43 in a million). The probability of getting a Royal Flush in a single hand is approximately 0.000154% (or 1.54 in a million). It's more likely to get dealt a 3-of-a-kind three hands in a row than it is to get dealt a Royal Flush one time.

    Mike flopped 4 sets and 2 of them were against lesser sets. Also 1 of the sets were against trip's. That is running like God but yet he did not win the max and he did lay down top top against Luda 10 high. Any elites would end up with the max
