seriously, Canon needs to credit you for this - legitimately the only thing that helped me set up my printer to my MBP! Thank you!!

Jonathan Serrano This means a lot to me! A lot of my fellow graphic designers and stationers kept getting frustrated trying to set it up, so I made this video thinking we weren’t the only ones needing help!

Now THIS is what I needed to know to set up! Thank you thank you!!! One question: I made the mistake of choosing the "Bonjour" instead of "IJ" network and can't figure out how to get back to that field to change it. Can you help?

Totally agree with you here. This was the easiest and best video about how to do something that none of the other videos were able to inform. Henry Lugo Make sure the drop down box is on Setup when you are in the IJ Network tool! If that doesn’t work, let me know.

The first few times mine couldn't find it either, then I simply turned off my printer, unplugged the USB, turned the printer on and plugged the USB in while searching, then I made it search one more time.

cant fint ij network tool. Already installed the driver.

Hi - I go thru all the steps, enter my wifi password and then receive this message: "The network password you entered is incorrect or does not correspond to the selected wireless router." But I haven't changed my wifi password in years!

Michael Silbert Hello, I am not sure as this seems like a WiFi router situation. Make sure you select the correct router and enter the password at first all in caps and then all lowercase. Maybe it’s just being particular. I wish you luck!

D J Is this in your system preferences where you’re trying to add the printer or are you trying to print something? Go to system preferences > printers and scanners > add printer
