Session 6 - Museums as Houses of Memory, the Case of the Lower Brule Agency House at Oacoma

Dr. Brian Molyneaux is an archaeologist specializing in cross-cultural art, ideol-ogy, environment, and presentations of the past. He has conducted fieldwork in Canada, the United States, and the UK. His research ranges from ground survey to theories of perception and ecology in the creation and use of visual art. He received his PhD in archaeology at the University of Southampton in the UK and taught in the Department of Anthropology at the University of South Dakota. He currently is working with the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe.
