Serna looks sooo beautiful and.love love her hair its color and that outfit WOW..after beating losing to hignis twice in 2001 she beat hingis at the usopen 2001 (which if anyone out there has that match please post it)serna never lost to hingis again.

hingis's gracefulness on court and her artistry are such a pleasure to behold, in addition to the fact that she is a very pretty young lady.

Der Hinko It’s not that it “wasn’t her day.” She lost to the better player. As she did six other times in their matchups, (6-7 record overall.)

@@RaphaelBas1995 To the better player this day and yes in the head to head statistic Serena has one victory more than Martina but the matches were very closed.....in this Match Martina lost clearly because it think it was not her day

Der Hinko Or it could be because Serena was getting better. Remember, she won not only this match, but the last three they played. And this was right before the Serena Slam.

@@derhinko2359 that statistic could have been bigger and would have been in favor of serena imho, had martina continued to play and not retired early in singles. she was clearly overpowered during 2002 by the williams sisters. after 2001 she really never got that close to a singles grand slam ever again. the williams sisters kept on improving during those times while martina's game was not really getting stronger. then add the drug-related controversies that she did not contest.
