That's how I do it. It works well. I start my night by playing the lower BPM songs and move up on BPM as the night goes on.

@@LB-lx8iq I believe it's best to start with less popular songs, then when "Peak hour" comes around, switch to the songs you believe are popular at the time. Also, look into transition BPM songs so you aren't stuck with 128 and up for the rest of the night. I'll go from Moombahton (105 BPM) to Trap (75-85), then to house (128) then possibly back down to Twerk (100). Hope this helps!

Yup same here. I also just learned about the "Prepare" tab. When i get requests i find the song and drag them to the prepare tab so it saves until played

@@Rudeboymo whenever I take a song request I ask them for their name then I announce the person's name it takes the pressure off me if it sucks and I'll quick mix out of it did lol. Usually they come back with something better or they stop requesting. 😂 But check out my other reply tips

Doesn’t work for windows 11. When holding control and selecting key all it does it move the highlighted song up one or two songs on the playlist .

My question though is does it stay that way or do you have to do that every time you turn your laptop on? I have an HP laptop so I don't know if the settings are the same as a Mac.

Don't get me wrong, this is an option I didn't know about, but being a mainly Techno/Tech House/Deep House DJ, I don't see the point to sort tracks at all (bpm/key/alphabet/artist et cetera).

Serato Dj had a hidden feature where if you highlighted a track in serato and hit a certain command on the keyboard, a window would pop up from the hard drive with the path of that same song hlighted. Does that command still exist?

I just used this feature today on the latest version of Serato, so it DOES work. Always run the Serato app off of your internal hard drive.

Great now I can’t get it to stop sorting by both at once.. both key and bpm are highlighted. I’m on windows and I click Ctrl and clicked it. Now I’m fucked until someone can help??
