Growing up in the Cold War, and having a band that Basically could not even speak English but wrote music in English perfect was one thing, but when they said, "love only love, can break down the Wall one day." Who would have known that they would not only be there but being a part of the Revolution that was Responsible for the bringing down of the Berlin Wall, and bringing the Cold War to a Close? You 2 are a Beautiful Couple, so full of Wonder and Magic. The thing I love about Power Ballads is they are so focused on powerful emotions that you can hear it through the instruments. The lyrics are simple enough that they’re very easy to understand, and are broad enough that they can usually be applied to lots of different circumstances. All you have to do is turn on the song, close your eyes, and go on the journey. It will take you to some point in your life where it applies. Still loving you is one of the best power ballads.

One of the Scorpions' biggest hit singles from 1984... Matthias Jabs (lead guitar) did a fantastic job w/ the lead solo. I'm sure you both would enjoy more Scorpions ballads like 'Holiday' ... 'In trance' ... 'When the smoke is going down' ... 'Believe in love' ... 'When you came into my life' ... 'Woman' ... 🔥🔥🔥🤘

One of the very best bands of the 80's, nope not a BIG HAIR BAND, thankfully!! In 1980 I had just turned 20 yrs old. I think that most people even today if you really think about it, that most people thought just because someone such as myself would be huge, huge big hair bands crazy?? Fortunately, because I'm bottom line Motown born and bred, this older white woman believe it or not was/is a huge, huge listener of the best music era of All-time, the complete 70's child. There was so much music to enjoy, first and foremost I loved/Still Love Motown first and foremost over all other music, then Classic Rock, Easy Listening/Soft Rock!! When Big Hair Bands started to come to the forefront as hard as I tried to like this weird style of music I just couldn't get into it because mainly they all pretty much sounded all the same!!! The Scorpion's we're an exception, that had their own unique sound. Thanks for another great reaction!! It's ok Brad, I would completely understand if you decided to breakdown while listening to this AWESOME CLASSIC ROCK SONG, SO GO AHEAD AND LET THOSE TEARS RIP!!!

I caught Scorpions live around 1991 (with Mr Big and Great White) and it was a great show. "Wind of Change" was the big single then and is probably still up there with Rock You Like A Hurricane as their biggest hit. I enjoy several Scorpions songs, but Still Loving You has always been my favorite by them by a mile...and it was UNBELIEVABLE live! This truly is on my Top 10 Most Underrated Songs list.

I'm old school Scorpions. I love everything up to and including Tokyo Tapes. They had lead guitarists like Uli Roth and Rudolph's kid brother Michael. I would like to suggest "In Trance", "We'll Burn the Sky" or "The Riot of your Time". We'll Burn the Sky was co written by Monika Dannemann who was the wife Uli Roth at that time. She was the last person to see Jimi Hendrix alive.

My boys....I miss them. This song was the one to introduce me to the band's existence in 1984 and they slayed me....then got to know them in 2007 when I met them. smh Such memories. Matthias Jabs is the lead who plays the small riff twice in the song.... the rest of the lead is Rudolf Schenker, the one who created the band in 1965. Scorpions rule the power ballads in the rock world IMHO. Thanks for appreciating them too. Lex, you go girl!! I sooo get ya on the manly musky smell. ha FYI: They just dropped their new single "Peacemaker", couple weeks ago from their new album "Rock Believer", to drop next year. Yes they have never stopped dropping albums and touring. Klaus the singer, is 73, Rudolf is 73 and Matthias is my age, 66. I don't know how they do it but I coined a phrase when I first met them "Rockers are ageless" and they have proven it.
