💬As I mentioned previously, this song had so many amazing reactions to it… I had to do it. But this one was tricky! There were four different videos the reactors listened to. An “original” version, the official version, a “live” version (wasn’t really live), and a lyric video. All four of them used the same studio recording of the track, although the original and official versions were edited shorter. It was a bit of a clusterf*ck trying to dissect them all… but I manage to do it! For this reason you will notice different videos throughout. I have always loved this band since I was a kid and their music still hits just as hard today. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did. ONTO THE NEXT! 💜

I don’t know if you know this but when in the 80s Roger Waters did a live performance of The Wall in No Man’s Land between West and East Germany and at one point at the beginning the Scorpions ride out in a limo to pose as the band headed up by “Pink” it was epic!

@@Coats2112 Love Pink Floyd also, and my opinion, Zeppelin and Floyd were in their own "league" back then because both bands could say 🐿️ squirrel, and mentally and instrumentally blow our minds, and even now I think how in hell did both bands pull off hit after hit in 1970's🤔 aliens possibly.

5 years ago, I took my mom to their concert for her birthday because she's a huge Scorpion fan and she introduced me to rock music (thank you mom). Listening to this song live was special

The poor lead singer had to have cysts removed from his vocal cords on more than one occasion. His voice was just so high. Truly beautiful and I don't think English is even his first language. I think he's from one of those countries where you think of the sky being gray all the time - - but that's just in my mind. You know Eastern European or Scandinavia or something. Beautiful beautiful. To be clear I'm not trying to say that he has passed away because I haven't looked into that. I mean back in the 80s. I don't want to sound like I think that he has passed away!

This was my first concert in '84 with Bon Jovi opening. 💯🤘

Klaus has one of the best rock voices ever. And then they're guys playing their instruments are all very good.

I used to drive around in my ‘67 Mustang with my best friend, blasting this song on the cassette player!! 1984?

These guys are a super group for sure. They have a lot of fantastic stuff. My favorite is " The Zoo "live at the Moscow Music peace festival.

Those legendary gentlemen from Germany! I have this one on my 80s playlist. My favorite is Wind of Change

Oh this song! The emotions that come to surface from the first note...I was 24 when this came out and divorcing...it hits so hard... the soft to the bellowing of pain from Klaus beautiful voice to the guitar of Rudolph that seems to come out of his soul ...one of the best rock ballads ever...❤ from what I understand, Klaus walked out into the snow to write this! Wondermomma...Thank you again...that song takes me back to a difficult time in my life but what turned out to be one that allowed me to know I was not alone in what I was going through...it will always be in my top ten of rock ballads! ♥️ ❤❤

If there was an entry for "power ballad" in the dictionary it would say to listen to this song. I became a huge Scorpions fan when Blackout came out and didn't think they could possibly do any better....until this album dropped. Truly one of the iconic albums of the '80s!!

Same. I was living in LA when it came out. Every time I hear this, I'm 20 again, driving to Griffith Park in a VW bug. Some days.

The solo or outro at the end lasts another minute or so and really wraps things up. Greatest band ever

They didn’t. They get to enjoy it too. Voyages of discovery each one of them can make. And they get to see what amazing music the future holds as well, popular cycles being what they are. Remember how the Stray Cats brought rockabilly back around, at least briefly? Or how the late nineties seemed to encapsulate several previous generations of music? Rock is sleeping. It’s not dead. Not even close. I envy the children. They should pity US.

One of my favorite bands back in the 80’s.

The 80s were the best time to grow up. It was so much fun and the best music. I wish I can go back in time and do it all again.

I was never into 80’s metal but I’ve always liked the Scorpions ….they had some amazing songs

I was in a rock cover band in the 2000's. I could sing all kinds of bands music, GnR, Alice in chains, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Led Zepplin, Van Halen, etc. But I could never pull off a good Klaus vocal. This guy is unique and special.

For those of you who did not grow up in the 70s/80's: let me introduce you to the rock ballad. I think the 70s nailed the rock ballad and the regular ballad if I'm being honest. Thanks for making this compilation video. I really love it.

Sadly, few reactors go deep, 'We'll Burn the Sky' is another one of my favorite power ballad by them. Very similar to 'Still Loving You' in song structure. Again GG WMOG!

Klaus has an incredible voice and still can hit those notes. Rudy Schenker is an amazing guitarist as well as his brother Michael. This band has been around since the early 70s and has quite the catalog of hits and songs. As great as their ballads are their hard hitting songs are what I love the most. I've seen them live in almost every decade and every show it just as great.

Damnit. I had hints too, and I did it again. I undervalued these fucking guys. They didn’t get enough credit at the time and they still don’t now, and I’m proof. This is a defining power ballad. Loved that plenty of reactions from vocalizers here because Klaus is a virtuoso of power and restraint in tandem. And I loved that you have The Charismatic Voice on this one. Her vocal expertise and explanations are so great on songs like this. Perfectly done Momma.
