Semester 7 Week 14 Update | CRNA School Chronicles

Welcome back to my CRNA school journey! In this week's update, I'm thrilled to share my experiences from Semester 7, Week 14. As a senior in my third year, I've transitioned to a new clinical site that's been an absolute game-changer.
At this new site, the structure is designed to give students like myself more autonomy and freedom. With a 2:1 ratio, each CRNA or anesthesiologist supervises two students, allowing for deeper learning and hands-on experiences while we manage our own cases. I can't express enough how much I've learned and how my confidence has grown in this environment.
In addition to my clinical rotations, I'm managing two classes. The first is our clinical practicum, where we upload our care plans and evaluations for grading. The second class revolves around our capstone project, a culmination of our learning journey in CRNA school.
While I'm grateful for the progress and opportunities, I must admit, the journey isn't without its challenges. Like many of my fellow students, I'm feeling the weight of exhaustion and burnout. It's a reminder of the importance of self-care and resilience in this demanding field.
Join me as I navigate through the highs and lows of CRNA school life, sharing insights, challenges, and victories along the way. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more updates on my journey to becoming a certified registered nurse anesthetist!

Happy to see you progress! Question, is there any area CRNA can’t like CT surgery, transplant?

Hi, I've been following your videos for a long time. You're pretty brave for doing these videos while in CRNA school, so thank you for taking the time to do these and sharing your experience with us.🙏😎 I'm looking for schools that accept the last 60 hr credits. I believe you mentioned awhile back that your school accepted the last 60 hrs. Which school do you attend for your CRNA program, if you don't mind? And is the GRE required? I would love to learn more about it. Thank you.

I am at Keiser University in Naples, FL. I believe they recently dropped the GRE requirement, but don’t quote me on that.
