    Literally my dream job… this lifestyle is very ideal imo. Staying busy, keeping your mind sharp, helping people daily. Systematic and always the same but also different if that makes sense. I hope to be in this position some day. God bless you for all your hard work dear!!!!

    Hi Paulene, thank you so much for posting this video, it's helpful to get a glimpse of what the clinical aspect of CRNA school is like. I'm currently finishing up my prerequisites to attend an ABSN program with the end goal of CRNA school. Although I am doing well, I feel I'm not very strong in my core sciences. Have you seen any of your classmates who may have had to work harder to understand the material during didactic, but still achieve success in school? I also noticed your whiteboard in the back of your car with what I'm assuming is study material. I would love to see a video of how you structure your whiteboards to help with your studying, if possible. Thank you for all you do and good luck on the rest of your journey. You are so close, know that I am rooting for you! -Owais

    Hi Owais! Thank you so much! Yes, of course - CRNA school is very challenging even for the smartest/most efficient students. It just takes a lot of hard work & grit to get through, but you can do it!!

    Hi Paulene! My name is Josh! How do you like SRNA life so far? I am in the FNP program for about a year left but I would like to know if I can do my doctoral as CRNA since my FNP degree is MSN. Do you recommend going this route at all? What are some cons/pros you see? Do you have other students who made this change? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Josh! The SRNA life is extremely challenging in many aspects but it is truly rewarding and I am enjoying it! My friend David Warren (you can find him on YT & Instagram) was an NP prior to going to CRNA school. He will be able to give you insight on his experience! CRNA programs are structured as a whole so you will have to start from the very beginning of it. It varies per program if you can transfer credits to classes you’ve already taken. I cannot say if I recommend it or not because it truly is a personal choice & a completely different career path!

    How was your application process? How many years of icu experience did you have?

  • @SRNAPaul

    @SRNAPaul

    6 ай бұрын

    I started working on my applications with about 1.5 years of icu experience & got in the first time I applied! It takes a bit of time to get all the requirements so start with a timeline for when you need to start checking things off your list while you’re working in the icu!

    Wow! Are you already at five days of clinicals??? You must be almost finished. How were the pharm boards? Have you taken the oral exam yet?

    This was just my break week where we are required to work 5 days of clinical! I still have 1 year & 2 months left 😀 & no, we have not taken any oral boards or pharm boards! will update if we do

    So during your clinicals you dont have any studying to classwork to do? Just focus on what you need to do in the OR?

  • @SRNAPaul

    @SRNAPaul

    Ай бұрын

    No, we have other classes and our DNP research project on top of clinicals. We also have to study for the SEE which we take yearly in our program. So we are constantly doing homework, writing, or studying outside of our OR time.

    How often are you able to work out during CRNA school?

  • @SRNAPaul

    @SRNAPaul

    Ай бұрын

    it varies! Some months are heavier in workload and more tiring than others. I try to workout at least twice a week but rest, sleep, and school work are often prioritized more. I work out whenever I can or have the energy to or if I need to de-stress
