Semester 8 Week 8 Update | CRNA School Chronicles

Welcome back to another CRNA school update! In this video, I share my experiences from Semester 8, Week 8. It's been an eventful journey as I return to my original clinical site, and I'm excited to give you all the details.
I've just wrapped up my cardiovascular rotation, which was an incredible learning experience, and I'm now diving into my OB (obstetrics) rotation. The transition has been challenging but rewarding as I continue to expand my skills and knowledge in different specialties.
A significant milestone this semester is receiving IRB approval for my capstone project. I've been diving into research and making steady progress, which feels great. Balancing a full-time clinical schedule and schoolwork is no easy feat, but I'm determined to keep pushing forward.
Working 40 hours a week in clinicals while managing school assignments is exhausting, but every step brings me closer to my goal of becoming a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Join me as I share my journey, insights, and the ups and downs of CRNA school life.

Did your program do the last 60 credits of the gpa? And which program did you attend if you don't mind me asking? Thank you.

Is your program DNP or DNAP? Is there really a difference?

My program is DNAP. They are both clinical based degrees, but it is because the program is offered from a school that is not under a specific “school of nursing”. Technically it can be considered a non-terminal degree. This website has a little blurb about the difference if you care to read it over. thecrna.com/dnap-vs-dnp-understanding-the-difference/
