Great video! I have the Sprocket and my quality has gone down.

so just wanted to ask if the ink ever runs out or doesnt it. for the paper i understand that you have to buy more to print but is it the same for the ink. if so please tell me how long the ink cassette lasts and would you say a short peroid of time or a long time?

It is the same premise as the selphy. It only does a certain amount of paper for the ink. I think 20 sheets per cartridge.

Each box of paper comes with a new ink cartridge as well, and that's enough ink to cover all 20 prints.

I just got my selphy and i love it but my gosh it’s like a goose chase looking for the paper, it’s on back order on canon

I got mine direct from Canon when I bought mine I purchased 6 packs.

You should do a review of the new canon cliq +2 and compare it with the selphy. No one has done it

Haha thanks for the suggestion but this selphy square was $149. Unless someone wants to gift me a cliq 2 to review and compare to the square 😬 @canonusa

I noticed that a lot of people said they had to turn off their wifi to scan the QR code and connect. I do my photos through a Samsung tablet, so I can't turn off the wifi. Any other suggestions as to how to connect, or should I just return my Square?

I had trouble connecting at first but I went i to my internet settings and connected to the QX10 “wifi” and it works every time now.

If you have an Android... find the picture in your phone's regular gallery. Then click share, and select the selphy app. That way you dont have to go through all of the confusing folders that the app has. Not sure how it works on crApple phones 😁

Try the share option see if it comes up.

Hello there! My wife thanks you for the video, it helped! She has a problem that wasn't brought up in your video and wonder if you know of it and more importantly a fix for it. When she prints the photo on her Selfie Square QX10, the printer cuts the photo off. It never prints the whole photo like it did in your video. She always has to go in and manually crop it to make it work. Any ideas when you have time would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hmm I have not had any issues with it printing the exact picture. I may sometimes move the pic if needed but Canon does tend to “auto crop” pics. I use a 3rd party app for my C1300 to prevent that.

Have you heard of any issues with iOS 15? I use iPhone 12Pro and I've heard it won't work. Thanks

Tbh they are very similar. I bought the QX10 for a more portable printer. It’s still a bit big in my opinion, not very “pocket”.

I really like my selphy square, but I’ve been using it quite a bit so paper and ink might get expensive 😂. I hated my sprocket (1st gen).

I got the Selphy Square for my birthday and can not, for the life of me get it to connect to my iphone....... so frustrating. I'm ready to return it!

Oh no. Mine connects immediately but have you tried connecting to its “network “ manually? I hope you get it sorted. I love mine. I do wish the program was better though. It’s definitely poop,lol.

What iOS version do you have? I’m not being able to connect mine 😔

My phone updated on its own to the newest iOS. But I had trouble connecting at first. So I had to be sure my phone connected to the selphys “internet”. It works now every time but the first time was a pain. Not the best software in this little printer for sure.

@@plannermumsy thanks. I had to disconnect my home Wi-Fi, and change the printer network settings on my iPhone and after many attempts, finally did it. Thanks for the help

@@rachelmontesion4058 hi. You need to disconnect your home wifi, then try to read the QR code again. If that doesn’t work, on your iphone wifi definitions, go to the printer wifi definitions and enable/disable the the several options. And keep trying to read the QR code every time you enable or disable the several options. Remember, your home wifi network needs to be disconnected
