I have a chronic auto immune disease called Graves disease, with Graves I tend to forget so much and for my busy life this is an issue. My solution was planning. Planning makes me feel like I have some control of my disease better and this is so important for my mental health. Watch my journey as I work my way through to find the elusive planner peace.
You may also see me do some crafty projects here, I adore crafts, color brings me so much joy. Another joy I have is fountain pens and writing with them. I am a total newbie but I sure love them.

How are you getting decent medical care? I am having the hardest time finding a good doctor and cardiologist when I have heart failure. I can't find any who actually want to help me. This lack of quality medical care and extreme stress over it is not helping my heart.
One answer....privatized physicians! I found a Functional medicine doctor that has an actual PHD. She does not take insurance so she has eliminated one of the biggest issues that drive the downfall of American healthcare. Insurance. I do have to drive 90 minutes one way to see her once a month. It's all a sacrifice but one I am willing to take. It has been way cheaper for me to go to her than when I had insurance and a regular allopathic doctor.
They've gradually become the *only* pens I use in my planners (regular size, not Decimo). So convenient, and the nibs are perfection. Your pens are beautiful! Yes, all converters absolutely are designed to be removed! None are permanently installed. And both style VPs can be used with either converter or cartridge (with the metal tube cover).
@@BlueHorseStitchers I’m serious when I say, I cannot get my converters I showed apart. It’s like they are welded together. I tried the other day to no avail even after soaking in hot water🤦🏻♀️

You can remove the converters from all of those nib units. Try heating it up in warm water.

I just left a HP mini where I combined two different formats for home and work with extra paper at the end because I write lots of notes and lists. This year is my first time trying the Hobonichi Weeks. I use the week portion for personal/home planning/appointments and the blank pages in the back for budgeting, trip planning, notes/lists that aren't related to a weekly format and BOJO work planning pages. After I purchased it, I found out you can get an English vs. Japanese version. Then I saw the SI and thought dang it. But honestly after the comparison and looking at some comments here I think I'm going to get the Hobonichi Weeks mega in the English version next year. Mega means more lists and notes! It lies flat, I love the hard cover and I love the calendar in the bottom right (I was upset when HP removed it from their weekly pages). The color of the paper isn't my favorite or the red highlights but it's still a good fit for me and small enough to fit in most purses.

Congrats on your new Nagasawa Kobe Gradation in your favorite nib size! They are always lovely, especially the taupe Kaigan Stone-Gray this year. I look forward to seeing your video featuring your capless Pilot collection. I love my VPs and got the chance to pick up a Raden Stripe for a great price when my Meisterstück 149 Origin shipped. I like using the Con 40 because it encourages me to change the ink color more often. Otherwise, I’d use SBRE Brown all the time! Just kidding, I do use SBRE Brown all the time in pens with large capacities. 😂
I waited too long and they sold out of all the nibs I found mine in Broad at Vanness I ordered the Kobe 2 Gray inks the pen is based on and they are very nice grays I was afraid I wouldn’t like the thinner vanishing point, but I don’t mind it.

I’ve been using and buying MZ Wallace for over 10 years. I love their style.
DandelionDiaries has a health journal that she tracks tons of stuff in. I’ve used a heath planner for 4-5 years now and this year I took a lot of inspiration from her. Personally my right page of the weekly section looks a lot different. I have it divided into three sections I movement/appts/treatments (that way I can see if something caused a flair or a reaction), symptoms, PNR meds (I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome) so far her layout is amazing! My doctors even comment on it frequently and are impressed with the information I can provide. It looks super overwhelming at first, but each day actually takes 5-10 mins to fill out every day. One thing I did to cut the time down was set up all of the trackers for the whole year. Now I just go in at the end of the day, list the food I ate, any PNR meds I took, any symptoms, and fill out the tracker. I use a sterling ink N1/TN so I have loads of pages where I also keep notes from appointments and a running list/tally of medical expenses.
The whole product is dreamy. I would love to have the money to get it, but I dont. You have it, so child, please feel blessed.

I used a heat fuze tool and just melted them together.
i am the opposite. i prefer the eco line to the 580 line. I do like the 580 line but don’t see a big difference in performance to pay the higher price tag. I like the chunkier cap too. i’m a big fan of small makers too! the vast majority of my pens actually

Glad you are getting a second opinion. I understand your frustration. I've had stuff like that happen to me. Be bold, and advocate for yourself, they work for us. Our insurance and our pocketbook pays them. Love the set up, the gnomes are sooo cute!! (p.s. I can never have a hot flash when I need one! LOL LOL)
Sorry to hear of your health issues. I too have a few, and mine are autoimmune. Recently I've been reading an excellent book by Meaghan O'Roark called "The Invisible Kingdom". It has helped me to deal with my disease and I highly recommend it. Best wishes ❤
