It’s called fomo… usually not all it’s hyped up to be. Send it back that thing is so disappointing. You’re definitely only paying for the name. You should have definitely had a better experience especially paying the price you must’ve paid. The clasp strap should be way longer

Heather, I am a big LV enthusiast and they make some beautiful bags but yes, they missed the mark with their planner covers 100%. This was a great review. Love the honesty and appreciate that you spent the time (and money) to show us. Always look forward to your videos, even at 12:20 am. 😊

You are right, LV leather is nothing compared with Gillio/VDS leather. You're paying for the brand for sure with LV.

I'd definitely return it - it was good to try so you know! there are so many functional things that I wouldn't be happy with either - thanks for sharing!

I'd be very disappointed and would send it back. The price is too much for what I saw. The letters come across pinky and the leather looks like plastic. I'm sorry that it was disappointing and glad you gave an honest review.

Ive been collecting LV since 1987. I’m def in love with their agendas. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you, but at the price you need lo love it.

I thought I remembered that Catherine of Sterling-Ink had this LV agenda, so I looked it up. Her video is from Sept 2022. She mentions that she has to lift up on the front cover to get the clasp to shut. It does seem crazy though that it is not designed well for easy function. Hope her video helps. Maybe help decide whether or not to keep it.

Maybe that tip will help someone else, for $750 it went back for me, I just couldn't justify the price for the functionality.

No hate at all, if it doesn't work for you then ship it back, way too expensive to try to make something work. I personally don't care for their leather planners myself, I like the Gillio and VDS both better, but I am happy for those it works for, it's just not functional for me. But hey you tried something new right 😀

I bought this cover and returned it (the regular Paul). The strap is too short. Some have moved it in the back but for that price, not doing the risk. Also when you open the front cover it clanks on the desk and creates a hump to write on. Thanks for your honesty.

Definitely send it back if you're not happy with the quality. The Louis Vuitton Desk Agenda Cover is less expensive and more versatile. I'm planning to get another one once it becomes available. ☺️

Crazy right! If they had just moved it a little bit! I wish luxury brands actually listened to their customer base.

Totally agree, weird design and not worth the hassle, regardless of price tag!!

It was all fine and dandy until you said 750 dineros and it caused me PAIN. And then the clasp situation, I was SO shocked with the carelessness. If it was their first release ever, ok, mistakes happen. But if they keep doing it that way, it's because they don't care, it's just banking on the name. That thing is over 3k in my country's money and that's 2.5 times the minimum wage. I'm shocked. Also, honest reviews are the best! That's what we need to make informed decisions, and youtube is our favorite source. Crossing LV from my list RIGHT NOW, thanks.

Super cute but I would return it as well.

It’s beautiful but the short closure would be a deal breaker. I do like the hardware, that’s very cool, just too short. I love my Speedy 30 & Neverfull. Ugh- I’m sorry it didn’t work out. 😣

Not all of the purses are coated canvas. Just the regular monogram fo the most part.

Full transparency, I have political issues with this brand but that's a me thing. That said, there are quite a few leather "mongers"...is that a word? 😂Well, people that are well versed in leather have made YT videos about the quality of LV products and they offer a decent quality leather, but the price is unfounded in the way of construction and materials. Point blank: LV is in the business of selling you the status, not the leather. If I'm not mistaken, what you have here the Empreinte Leather is calfskin. To break it down cost-wise, Calf leather is often more expensive than other types of bovine leathers. Leather itself isn't cheap, but but it's not as expensive as some people may think. A wallet uses about 2 sq. ft, a big bag can consume about 8-10 feet of leather. High ticket brands such as these are always about the brand and the status you're buying. I respect those brands, I respect that need for status as well, but one thing that reviewers don't speak much about with LV is that it's not about the leather with this brand. I think that's mostly because it's not what a certain type truly cares about, which is fine for them. A small part of it is about the design but most of this brand is about the status symbol of owning one. Your feelings about this are totally founded and you feel that way because you are a leather lover. Us, knowing leather like we do, that need for quality is the feeling your leading with because that means more to us. Personally, I like the natural feel of the leather over a "mystery leather" that some brands treat in some weird way and call it "exotic" so they aren't questioned about quality. Totally my opinion on that part. Anyway, they have some cute designs, that's why I own a WalMart dupe of the speedy. It's cute as heck for $40 and it's not too expensive to personalize with some paint and patches 🤭 Thank you for your honest voice on the subject.
