I mean, in this case its more of a hyper surveillance issue. People socialize/network at these events all the time, but now people are trying to sleuth through social media by lip reading pixels. It’s shock horror for many, but people like to socialize and gossip no matter what age. I don’t think it’s inherently bad to gossip-it’s human nature to want to understand your surroundings and share info with the group. Of course, it’s bad to talk negatively or spread misinformation. It’s the bed they gotta lie in-in exchange for financial security, billionaire status and power they lose some humanity to people. privacy is revoked and sour grapes over the wealth disparity has people more quick to anger. When they were teen ‘up and coming’ underdogs in the industry they were loved more for sure. It’s different now and I know the economy even relies on people like Taylor and her high income tours. Life is crazy.
