I read some where don’t know if it true or not. They said the references was from Francia father is that Francia was upset that Selena was drinking alcohol and Selena answer back that she is allow to have a life. Don’t know if it true. But once you give something it’s not yours anymore or your right to dictate how they use it. I think Francia did the right thing stepping away from the situation that she wasn’t happy about.

So because she did one this thing for her, albeit a very big thing, she now has to mention her in every song, every interview, every ‘thank you’ where she name drops? Absurd. And that’s an absurd thing to think you’re entitled to. You’re not donating your kidney for the right reason if you’re looking for lifelong public attention. If they were not speaking, which HAPPENS, especially at that age, as people grow up & evolve & go their separate ways, why would she name her in something she’s doing currently? It’s not related. That doesn’t mean she isn’t FOREVER grateful. But just because you were friends with someone years ago who was kind enough to do that for you, doesn’t mean people & life circumstances don’t change, and people don’t grow apart. Y’all need to grow up. Both women have said NOTHING happened, they just grew apart. That’s life. That doesn’t invalidate the sacrifice nor the gratitude.

The staff told Selena that Francia was a match BEFORE they told Francia, the donor. Francia first heard she was a match FROM SELENA. She couldn't say no. Doctors should tell the donor before the recipient so they can make the decision, not the recipient guilt tripping the donor.

Yes and because she got a lot of backlash they "supposedly" are back friends or besties now. Either francia is easy to fool or this is just to calm people from backlashing her. We can forgive but you have to be careful too and not go back as besties again

Francia might have donated it willingly but it was a messed up situation. The doctors should've told Francia first that she's a match & let HER decide if she wants to proceed with the donation. Instead they told Selena first. Like how was she supposed to say no or even think it through. Receiving an organ is nothing but giving away an organ is a very big surgery with all sorts of complications & you could even die from it. Shame on those doctors & tbh Selena as well for calling & telling her personally that she was a match.

I obviously don’t know either of these women personally. I don’t know what they’re truly like. But, giving one of your kidneys to a friend to save their life, probably ended up putting a strain on the relationship. Maybe Francia didn’t think Selena was appreciative enough or wasn’t living the best lifestyle. She may have felt ownership of the kidney still, in the sense that she wanted it to be taken care of. After all, she is living with one kidney now and that’s a huge commitment. I think there’s a lot of heavy, confusing, difficult emotions that go along with being a donor to someone so close. God bless her for being so unbelievably selfless and devoted.

I hope one day a friend and I can reconcile. It's been almost a year since our falling out, little contact since then. I miss her a lot. I hope we can overcome the hurt and just start fresh. Sometimes there are people who come into your life and change it for the better. I cross my fingers we'll reconcile like Francia and Selena did.

I can't imagine giving a friend one of my kidneys and then we stop speaking for 6 years.. but one thing for sure if it's meant to be it will be no matter how much time passes.

Respectfully, this is why organ donors are anonymous. The anonymity is guarded to protect both parties against abuse, manipulation or financial pressure. I see Francia and her fanbase dabbling and treading a fine line between those.

Motal of the story is that don't donate any part of your body for your friend.

You're still alive because of someone who donated their whole organ to you and you refer to them as "everyone I know" wow... Francia is a very good person and the painful thing about that is not everyone else including friends, are good people. We have to be able to put ourselves first at times especially with how unreliable human beings are. I'd only donate a kidney to my mom or my child if I had one.

Selena isnt a good person dont let her outter exterior fool you. This speaks volumes to caracter..

Francias father was out there lying on radio shows about Selena calling her a drunkard of which last month Francia said that wasn't true. Francia went back to Selena because she wanted to promote her salsa. That family is toxic Selena should stay away from those liars.
