As someone who has received a kidney transplant at 15, I can understand both Selena and francia. It is important to be grateful to our donors,but people also need to understand that we suffer from depression after this, and might not be in the right space mentally when mentioning everyone. I don't tell my mom everyday thanks for saving my life,but she knows that I love her, and I make sure to show her that rather than saying it. I also forgot to mention transplant is not a cure,there is no cure for this disease,which means we are stuck taking pills daily for the rest of our life,and will need more transplant in the future,so please remember to be kind, and consider both sides.

I would never donate my kidney to anyone except my parents and my child.. Francia made a huge mistake, she risked her life for such a selfish friend.

I would give them grace no matter what because they were so selfless. She was cut open on an operation table because she LOVED Selena that much. Does Selena understand that if Francia had a kid who needed a kidney she wouldn’t have a spare to give. My God! People are so cruel. What is it about her that makes Selena comfortable with dismissing her. If I was Selena’s mother I would coach my daughter into being a better person than that towards Francia.

The docu honestly made me dislike her a bit. I understand than mental disorders can make you do questionable things but that’s no excuse to treat your loved ones badly. She even admitted how mean she was to her family but continued to be mean with interviewers and friends who only mean well. Wow this is sad. People truly lack self awareness. Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift with their girl group was the "cool girl clique" I hate people who play victim. 've always loved Sel, but I am not gonna lie, I just lost a HUGE chunk of respect for her. Francia risked her own life to give her friend her own organ and that "friend" can't be bothered enough to even acknowledge that in a documentary about her LIFE ? She constantly talks about being kind and spreading positivity but she clearly doesn't practice what she preaches. I don't know what happened between them. But no mater how awful things must've gotten between the two, a mention of Francia's name wouldn't have done her any harm. This documentary is about her life... one that she wouldn't have had if it wasn't for Francia. My heart breaks for her. Can't imagine risking my own life for a friend only to have them snub me and go all " sorry I didn't acknowledge everyone I know". HOW vile.

Yikes, how do you forget someone who donated her kidney to you? It saved her life. My mom has lupus and it's super hard on her to live with, for this girl to help save her life it is above and beyond what a friend would do. She didn't forget, she is just ungrateful and holding onto some kind of negativity that she can't get over.

It's not the way how u treat someone who saved your precious life by risking theirs. Selena is so ungrateful. Selena can't just pretend this never happened. Giving up one of your kidney is a huge deal. Not even a family member is willing to go through that ordeal. I am sure Selena was very appreciative when she was receiving it. This reminds me of a person who was desperate for money and her good friend lent her savings. . Once she got the money, paying back every month became a chore and she started making excues to avoid meetings until they are no loner friends now. That's how friendships are lost. Not always though. Whether Selena wants to admit it or not, she is forever indebted to Francia. Perhaps, the way she is behaving right now mirrors who she really is.

Francia is also in the industry being it movie or music it is still entertainment, so I hope Selena picks her words right to avoid further misunderstanding along the way I love Selena, Taylor and Francia too so I hope this doesn't destroy the lovely times they've had

I’m sorry, Selena seems sweet and all, but she’s seriously delusional. How hard things must be for a girl to “only be friends with TS.” And Geezus, she’s treated that girl that face her and entire organ like crap! She’s the lowest of the low, strictly for that. Maybe her hard time she seems to always be having is karma? She needs to make this up to her friend that she LITERALLY owes her life to. This is actually disgusting. And had this been anyone else, they’d be absolutely cancelled for this. She is seriously out of touch and delusional, and needs to get her ish together, before the universe does it for her. While she’s preaching about being a good person, she should actually be practicing this.

No matter what falling out you have with someone, you gotta acknowledge them saving your life the way francia did, it's one of the most selfless act anyone can do, especially someone who is not family

I have always thought selena was shady. tries too hard to give off that “nice girl, can’t do anything wrong” vibes. Gotta watch out for people like that. I do appreciate her being open with her diagnosis now, but she needs to gain more control over it, she has a bad aura to her. In the documentary, it seemed there was nothing anyone can do or say to help her. She just pushed everyone away. She’s gotta go all the way in if she wants to heal herself, not just the surface level.
