How do I do that on an old Singer. With normal settings. I see on school jersey shirt hem.
Hi I’m very new to sewing! I’ve been trying to do lettering and it just comes out as a squiggle! Is this a tension issue or is there anything else I need to change to get it to come out right? Thanks!!!

It could be tension. Check your user manual for settings, tips and troubleshooting. Hope you are able to get it working well.

To be honest, it's something I noticed in other videos I like, so I did it. I understand your point and I have just started leaving music out of the talking portions. Creating videos is an evolving process and, as I produce my videos 100% by myself, I am putting my own learning on display. I appreciate the feedback.
