Hi! I'm Paige. I sew and I show you how too. --- On my channel I will walk you through each step of the process of making something; whether it is a dress, bag, or pillow. You will see and learn techniques that can help you make a high quality product; like a skirt that looks just as pretty from the inside as it does the outside. Enjoy the collection of videos I am making and say "Hi"... there is always room for another friend at the sewing table.
Let's get creative and make something we love!

Exquisite. Thank you for recording this process. Enjoy your celebrations! ❤🔥
Terrific! Thank you for your tutorial! So easy to follow. Just finished my future daughter in law’s veil.
Best tutorial video on KZread 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you so much...I just subscribed 🙏😊❤️
The best presentation about sewing. I'll stay here forever. <3 Thank you.
I have been sewing for years and have not seen this demonstrated so simply and making it easy to understand. Thank you!
Very thorough. Thank you!
Just solved my stitches problem on the sewing machine, turns out it was cheaper cotton reel causing it
Thank you for a very good tutorial. I always wondered how those miters were done
Excellent tutorial, easy to understand and follow. I like that you showed some different ways of doing things (like for me, the zipper pocket).
I've watched and sewed several different methods for mitered corners, your method is by far the easiest and cleanest! Thank you!
My upper part is ok but lowerpart is coming loose how I will fix it?
Try a good quality cotton reel, fixed my issue.
That's if you checked tension first.
Wow I’m going to try this. Thank you. ❤❤
I chose this as my first sewing project and even tho I sucked at cutting the fabric straight, it came out pretty good! The interfacing was not as stiff as the one on video so the bag doesn't hold the shape as well, mas overall I'm very pleased. Simple tutorial, perfect for beginners! Ps: I did sew the zipper pocket upsidedown the first time, but eventually I redid it and it came out great
What about if the fabric sticks and it’s a huge knot in the back in one place 😢 tension is set to 4
Try holding the two threads behind the presser foot when you start your first few stitches.
What is the finished size of your napkins? 14 x 14? So you're cutting them 16" x 16"? New sewer here, so forgive my ignorance. :)
Correct. With a half inch seam turned twice (for a clean edge) you'll lose 1 inch per side. So 16x16 becomes 14x14. You can customize the napkins so much. For a more formal napkin you can make them larger with deeper seams, but you'll use a lot more fabric. The napkins demonstrated in this video are perfect for everyday, informal napkins.
didn't help with my tension problem!
I fixed mine by using good quality cotton reel. I was using some bargain Birch ones and getting the odd loop on the back of sewing
Did you serge with that same sewing machine?
Serging is done on a specific machine. I have both a sewing machine and serger. There are some stitches on some sewing machines that can finish a raw edge, but it's still different than a serger.
Mam I am very forgetful,so please tell me which number I will fix for straight stitches and zic zac stiches, in the three wheels ?
Really nice love the non speaking format 👍😊🥰
Good explanation
Thanks!
You adorable 😊. And have precious loved ones .
Great tools.
Great tools 😮
THANK YOU!! I was sitting here yelling at my machine, but when I was sewing last night everything was fine and the threads didn't bunch up underneath so I don't know what's happening now unless it's detention changed by itself 😣🤗🩷🌹
Lovely demonstration, thanks very much x
Best to the point video I have seen of this method . Thank You
currently making a costume for ren-fair, thank you for the tips!!! I didn't even consider the gap behind the button for the fabric to sit in!!
Single dad here, stepping to bat for my sonny's clothes! Thanks for all the tops & tricks Paige!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Great instructions. I’m ready to tackle mine now.
Hello! this video was very helpful! But, one issue that keeps happening to me is the tension and everything will work perfectly for about 5-10 minutes of sewing then all of a sudden the string will get stuck, jam, or just look like a complete mess. Is there something that could be causing this midsew?
Make sure you are using the appropriate thread and needle (type and size) for the fabric you are working with.
What a great teacher you’re Where can I get this sewing kits
I have everything linked in my blog post about this video. The link is in the video description.
u should do a vid for one of those desktop embroidery machines that looks just like the ones in this vid so we can know what to buy.
Absolutely incredible, congratulations. The dress looks beautiful and the attention to detail just brings it up to a whole other level. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to make the dress? Happy sewing!
Thank you! I made it over the course of 6 days. I don't know how many hours I spent on it.
Very helpful, stylish and practical thank you
This is a wonderful video on making the mitered corners, but what about the raw edges? I think they need to be turned under again.
The edges aren't raw after the second turn. I don't leave raw edges.
Hmm, I must have missed where they were turned a second time.
Excellent tutorial! Thank you for being clear and concise and showing us how to adjust the tension!
Beautiful. Do you think that this would work for a maxi skirt or mid-ankle so to speak?
Can it work for a headband instead of a comb?
Do you use 100% cotton?
I did for these everyday casual napkins.
Thankyou! I read a few sets of instructions and couldn't get this right. Your video was perfect.
Would you please make a videw teaching us how to cut ,,
Most neaty beautiful dress ever seen.
I wish become as professioal as you .❤
that didn't work. Theres got to be a formula for making these mitered corners no matter what size hem. What is that formula???? does anyone know?
Wow! Thank you so much. I’m very inexperienced when it comes to sewing and I couldn’t figure out why I was getting so much looping in the back. My tension was on 0-1. A million thank you’s!!!!!
I’m so calm I’m no longer mad thank you 🙂↕️
These are the BEST ideas!!! TYSM for walking us through a clear progression little children can take to learn sewing! I was at my wit's end trying to simplify the sewing I do enough for their little minds and fingers. I hope this lets them develop a love of sewing just like me.
What does cutting on bias mean?
